lorida police have charged Donald Trump's campaign manager Corey Lewandowski with simple assault in connection with an incident earlier in the month involving a reporter.
Police in Jupiter, Florida issued Lewandowski a notice Tuesday to appear before a judge on May 4 for the misdemeanor charge. A surveillance video released by the police appears to show Lewandowski grabbing a reporter for Breitbart News as she tried to ask Trump a question during a March 8 campaign event.
The police report states: "Lewandowski grabbed (Michelle) Fields' left arm with his right hand causing her to turn and step back." Fields showed police her left forearm which "appeared to show a grabbing-type injury," according to the investigating officer.

If I had been “assaulted” to the extent that I felt it necessary to file a police report, I would have been wincing in pain and checking my arm immediately for injuries. She seems unconcerned after the event.
The safety of Trump must be a constant worry for his staff due to death threats.
That interpretation of the video is a stretch. I see people passing through a crowd with the normal bumping and jostling. Assuming we haven't redefined the word, I sure as heck don't see an "assault".

There are the charges from the police and the support of another reporter. Trump is supporting his campaign manager- only making his problem with women worse.

My point being that the women that was grabbed made no big deal about it. It was another reporter that actually reported it. The Women just asked for an apology.
The Trump Camp went into smear and cover up mode. Had they said he was just attempting to keep a save distance and sorry it probably would have been over.

I would imagine the Judge will ask if the parties wish to meet to try to resolve this before a court date. If the Trump camp issues a Public apology it will probably be over. If not Cory gets his day.
