Police charge Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski with assault

lorida police have charged Donald Trump's campaign manager Corey Lewandowski with simple assault in connection with an incident earlier in the month involving a reporter.

Police in Jupiter, Florida issued Lewandowski a notice Tuesday to appear before a judge on May 4 for the misdemeanor charge. A surveillance video released by the police appears to show Lewandowski grabbing a reporter for Breitbart News as she tried to ask Trump a question during a March 8 campaign event.

The police report states: "Lewandowski grabbed (Michelle) Fields' left arm with his right hand causing her to turn and step back." Fields showed police her left forearm which "appeared to show a grabbing-type injury," according to the investigating officer.

At most he took hold of her arm and slowed her to a stop while he moved past. He’s not looking at her face and apparently he wouldn’t have known who she was anyway as they didn’t know each other.

In the high video she’s the only person right up next to Trump as they are walking away. It looks like his intention was to move her away from Trump as they were leaving the event.

Indeed, it is ridiculous. It looks to me like he is oblivious of her and grabs her arm as a means to get to Trump, who is “getting away” from him.

The real culture of violence here is what is being attempted to the election system by the GOPe operatives and Cruz to undermine the will of the voters. Any other time, with any other candidate (say, the guy in Mississippi who ran against Cochran), co-called “conservatives” would be squealing like pigs about the utter usurpation of the electoral process.

Remember the last time someone got away with murder and all the press did was marvel at how well he executed the moves? Conservatives railed at Slick Willie’s abuse of the system, even if often technically legal, because IT JUST WASN’T RIGHT. Now these same “conservatives” are supporting this crap.

Not exactly. All Cruz did was call the National Enquirer story "garbage", and when directly questioned by a reporter as to whether he has been faithful to Heidi Cruz, Carly Fiorina leaped in to take a bullet for him, he didn't answer, and she just started attacking Trump.

1.) "I have never been unfaithful to my wife Heidi"

2.) "I have never had an affair, or a mistress nor mistresses"

3.) "I demand an immediate apology and retraction from the National Enquirer, or I will direct my legal team to begin proceedings against them"
