Mr. Lewandowski was trying to protect Mr. Trump. The female reporter was obviously crowding him in the video. She’s claiming she was assaulted for asking Mr. Trump a question about affirmative action, implying that Mr. Lewandowski was pulling her away for political reasons. By bringing this action again Mr. Lewandowski, the prosecutors are attempting to intimidate Mr. Trump’s security people from properly protecting him, forcing them to think twice about whether someone will bring charges against them, and this endangers Mr. Trump’s safety because it could open him up to an assassination attempt by an aggressive individual who gets too close.
