"Don’t see how a Cruz support could continue to be enthusiastic about a candidate who can only answer “Donald!” "Hey iCarly" to any question he is asked..".

Fixed.

Pfft. If Trump isn’t the nominee, Hillary is President anyways.

I believe nothing from pollsters, including Gallup. I look more at past performance - as in actual votes - as a likely prognostication of future performance.

I don’t buy into Ted Cruz simply because I do not see him as eligible. Too many establishment vaccinated shills believe a Cuban born in Canada to a Canadian citizen mother and Cuban father is somehow eligible to be POTUS as a natural born USA citizen. The Hillary people will trash him on this.

If you respect the USA Constitution there is no way you can support Cruz and his multi-cultural non natural citizen pedigree. This is even more important in this day and age.

If you examine Cruz and Obama, they strangely both represent two almost identical peas from two different Parties yet both have a very similar history borne out of a corrupt society of political elites. Maybe both were members of the same secret society? We’ve had enough of Harvard slickdom and incompetence.

No you have a two-fer.

I do not believe that Hillary’s supporters are more enthusiastic than Bernie’s, they are Old Women.

Don’t be ridiculous. Politicians routinely ask for people’s votes.

Do you parrot every Democratmedia lie?

That wasn't "swearing allegiance"; that was raise you hand if you are going to vote for me!

Attempting to twist things doesn't "help" you/your side at all; it just makes you look foolish.

I haven’t decided which one will make me happier...

Trump LOSING in a brokered convention...

Trump losing by HISTORICAL proportions to Hillary because 60% refuse to vote for him...

Trump “fans” going apoplectic and running around squawking about “something” was stolen from them but really having no idea what it was...

I can attest to the fact that I feel more excited about Trump’s nomination than I have felt in a long time. Typically, every candidate who starts off strong, and whom I could enthusiastically support, ends up being destroyed by the MSM after the first couple of primaries. Then we get someone boring and unelectable like Romney.

The MSM has tried to destroy Trump, but the fact that his life has been public for decades works against the MSM. I see a few FReepers falling for the MSM’s gambit—but overall, Trump is still going strong.

At this point, we need a good, strong, pro-American president who is not a lawyer and who understands the real world. Trump is that man.

I have to admit that while I’m not super enthusiastic FOR Trump, I am growing more and more adamantly AGAINST Cruz with each passing day.

Does that count?

This explains Cruz' overperformance in some states and here on FR. His base is small but energized and cannot grow among the general population where he is disliked.

‘Trump enjoys way more voters and much more enthusiasm...’

Right. I think that’s better. Two polls put him past 50% nationally [Zogby and Reuters if I recall].

A recent one puts him close to 50%. I could imagine a temporary dip due to Cruz slandering him over the Enquirer report. Hannity is certain that Trump was not behind it.

And Cruz is in the 30s.

Unless you believe S. Arabia’s Prince Alwaleed’s poll [aka ‘FoxNews’]
