If you were honest, you would know what Trump has said about donations before. At one rally, he mentioned a donation with a lengthy letter from an older lady with a small donation.

He thought it would be disrespectful to send the money back. You see, while Heidi has an email Bot spamming hourly for donations, Trump has raised very little through his indirect methods.

Accepting donations is different than soliciting donations.

People like you and me, yeah, we know all about that kind of stuff. The campaigns that send out requests for money, etc.

I took it to mean that Anderson was telling Trump he is actually doing that, and Trump rightfully said he was not. He did not consider any of the campaign swag as part of his campaign funds because this was coming out of his pocket.
