Yeah....and wait till everything is “free” under Bernie...
There are certain fundamental principles that I am trying to teach my kids.
One particular principle comes to mind. My 6 year old daughter seems to grasp it somewhat, even. A lot of Bernie supporters don’t.
“There is no such thing as a free lunch”.
I have often thought that we shouldn’t be using the term spending money like drunken sailors. Those sailors actually earned the money they were spending on their shore leaves.
Isn’t there an old navy quote-—I spent most of me money on likker and women and the rest I spent foolishly!

I’ve seen how sailors spend first hand. Alcoholism was the fate of many of my shipmates. I blame the demonic culture of the off base bar scene for most of it. The waitresses in these bars so manipulate their customers to consume so much beer it sets them on a road to alcoholism. That is an expensive habit which benefits the waitresses with tips in return for minimal emotional favors. I am glad I saw through the games.
