New Marquette Law School Poll finds Ted Cruz ahead in Wis GOP primary race, with 40% support to 30% for Trump, 21% for Kasich. #mulawpoll
More in-depth toplines to follow.
Not a good poll, agreed but he’s had some bad publicity lately and losing Wisconsin isn’t the end of the world. The state only has 42 delegates, which is pretty much the same as Utah. Trump is just beginning to campaign there, so this could very well change.
Lots of time left before the primary, 6 days. This could reflect reality, could be an outlier. We’ll see. In better news, Trump up 50-15 in NY today.
Marquette is the gold standard? I guess you haven’t been reading the news today.
Poll of whom? Registetred voters? Likely voters?
It makes a big difference.
I’ll wait for the real poll next Tuesday.
Internals?
Likely voters. Proper split cell/landline.
Don’t worry, Trumpsters. Some guy who draws Dilbert says that your man will use Jedi mind tricks to turn this one around.
This confirms what weekend tracking polls were showing, i.e. that Rump’s Enquirer stunt was blowing up in his face big time. That why he furiously scrubbed it off his Facebook page on Sunday.
Getting hoisted by his own sleazy petard. SWEET!
Republican only poll. Wisconsin is open. Also registered voters not likely.
I think this is a lot closer 3 way race based on poll averages. And 6 days left...
0ptimus (R)* 3/22 - 3/24 6182 LV 1.1 27 31 29 Trump +2
Your poll is BS. The Optimus poll had a huge 6182 people sample, and it showed Cruz losing a lot of support.
Likely the dynamic is people Know Cruz is a Liar, Lyin Ted and they know he cheated on Heidi with many women.
The race is close but Cruz is now trailing Kasich in 3rd place.
Trump likely hasnt even bought ads yet, just spending his first full day in the state.
Watch the numbers change for Trump by next Monday.
Bus Ted.
The land of Rinse and Lyin Ryan should be fertile ground for Bishop Romney’s shoe shine boy. Good luck.
Maybe he needs to re-tweet that picture of Hedi and his wife a few dozen more times. Wisconsin voters (especially women) are responding so well to the sewer mentality stunt.
Marquette is NO LONGER a conservative law school but has moved to the left so much that even alumni refuse to send their own children there, it’s too close to the liberals in Madison and Milwaukee to avoid the liberals influence.

Democratic race, Trump maintaining Republican lead in Wisconsin
“On the Republican side, Trump is supported by 30 percent, followed by Marco Rubio at 20 percent and Ted Cruz at 19 percent, among respondents who say that they will vote in the Republican primary. “
I don't disagree with that, but when it comes to polling Wisconsin, they know what they are doing.
This was when Trump took 8 days off.
