If it’s Cruz, I have such a problem. I can’t stand him anymore. But I don’t want to waste my vote, and I can’t not vote
Preach it, darlin’.
Notice I did not demand he do it, but that he demand you do it. LOL
Agree!
What does foreplay in Kentucky sound Like?
Get off me Dad, you are crushing my Cigarettes
What does foreplay in Tennessee sound Like?
Sis, are you awake?
Just cruise the threads on Trump or Ted Cruz and you will quickly learn
If the Republican nominee is Obiwan, how can we extend the metaphor to the DNC Death Star? There is a small, long shaft that leads right to the nuclear core of this death star. Is it:
1. Its vaginocity?
2. The central flaw in its world view and philosophy?
3. Illegal aliens voting on behalf of dead people?
4. List of major shareholders in MSM corporate structure?
5. Anything I haven’t thought of? Luke Skywalker needs to use the force, and to know.
Again, you are not thinking like a business man
Trump is a business man not a politician
Are any of the receivers of Trump cash ever come to defend him? Not a single one
No loyalty I guess, I guess they just enjoy his money. Bunch of losers if you ask me.
Trump is better off without any of them
But your boy Cruz did accept money from Donald. Donald was spreading the wealth around DC, like any other smart business man would.
Do research on lobbyists, special interests, etc, you will see that they buy people from both sides of the aisle, it is a win-win situation for them to do this. It is how the game is played, hate the game, not the player
Cruz maybe a constitutional conservative, but I don’t see how he wins the general election.
I’ll vote for whichever Republican is nominated, as long as there’s no shenanigans at the convention. And, as long as it’s either Trump or Cruz.
“As a group, we conservatives have so thoroughly trashed each and every one of our potential candidates, than none stands a prayer in the general election.”
While I rarely agree with Jonah Goldberg as of late, he recently said that regardless of which of the two finalists get the nomination, the feud between their supporters will result in not only an election defeat but the utter destruction of the GOP. I find the former may be a nuisance that can be overcome in a few generations (although I do think the USA is history at this point), the latter a benefit that lives forever.
Like many other commenters here I have decreased my time on FR and especially the comments, which I used to love. I’ve been here almost twenty years, and I think the reason passions run so high is that the conservative successes of 2010 and 2014 followed by the betrayals of 2011 and 2015 have left most here with the taste of bile in their mouths, and now the defeat of such a corrupt and defeatable marxist seems to be escaping our grasp.
Trump supporters (and to my knowledge I have never used epithets in describing them, it’s always “Trump supporters) deny the reality of Trump polling badly in 90% of the polls of head to head contests, yet they extol the validity of polls when Trump touts them.
Thanks OneVike. I have not had this much fun on FR for a long time. This thread was needed desperately.
You ask for a truce in the mud slinging and you just slung mud!
Bottom line:
Only Trump can beat Hillary because he will get non-Republican voters. Cruz should step back for the good of the country.
Yes a flat short denial is arguing like a 5 year old. Had to make it simple for the sound-bite crowd.
I got a good joke!
Trump falls short.
Cruz hands fraud convention to Ryan.
Jeb becomes UNELECTED Republican nominee.
Hillary wins US Presidency.
Sanders accepts VP.
Mass migration through the decade.
US population is 1 billion, mostly foriegners.
Citizens are deported.
Democrats reign for 200 years.
The people are poor serfs to the Uniparty.
Your granddaughter bewilderly asks you why you thought this was a joke.

Nostradamus among us!
I'm not willing to agree to that truce. Like Jim says the truce comes after the convention.
I'll bump that one.
