White House rips Trump for standing by aide charged with battery

White House press secretary Josh Earnest on Wednesday condemned Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump

Corey Lewandowski is accused of grabbing the arm of a reporter after a Trump press conference in Florida earlier this month.

“I am confident that neither President Obama nor President Bush would tolerate someone on their staff being accused of physically assaulting a reporter, lying about it and then blaming the victim,” Earnest told reporters.

Earnest said Trump's response to the Lewandowski incident, as well his other controversial actions, is "completely outside the realm of acceptable behavior.”

Because the media would paint him as “anti-woman”

1. What Cruz incident did I judge him guilty of or unfairly?

By you I was referring to the Trump supporters on FR. There are multiple incidents, many of the contrived.

Well, you can reference all the people you like, but when I'm talking with you, I'm the only person I'm responsible for.  The actions of the others aren't my concen.

2. What lie did the Trump team tell?

Corey said he had never met her and had not grabbed her.

So far, neither of these claims have been proven untrue.

3. How did they mismanage the incident?

They turned something which should have been resolved with a simple apology into a campaign crisis.

A woman claims you grabed her so hard she nearly hit the floor, and it caused more pain that the death of her father.  What does apologing for this accomplish other than to admit you did it?  If you didn't do it, why would you apologize?

Again, if Im batting zero why is Trump making multiple statements on this “non” incident?

The media is trying to convict Trump's man and thereby Trump with these accusations.  Sorry "TED", but this doesn't mean it's Trump's fault.  It means the Leftist media is doing what the Leftist media always does.  It tries to take our people down.

I don't believe I called this 'a non-incident'.  I called it 'the incident'.  At the #3 point above, you copied and pasted exactly what I referenced it as.

True or not, it's an incident.  True or not, Ted's infidelity or not, is a scandal.

“So far, neither of these claims have been proven untrue.”

The police found probably cause. The video shows his hand on her arm. The video shows her abruptly moving to one side after his hand was put on her arm. So that has been to be more than 51% true, which is the requirement for probable cause.

Whats not proven that those actions by Corey meet the legal definition of misdemeanor battery. Its currently pending a review by the Prosecutor for a court date of the 4th.

Apologizing frequently prevents silly things from escalating into serious things.

Making an issue of Cruz alleged infidelity while ignoring Trumps admitted and repeated infidelity is dishonest.

Isn’t it nice to know that President Bush would definitely fire his top aides in hypothetical non incidents that never occurred with President Bush?

I mean can we get on our knees and bend any lower?

Live in a country in which laws are not enforced but our people’s lives must be destroyed on a whim.

The distruct attorney made a statement yesterday, and there has been no follow-up that I know of.

He stated that nothing had been sumitted to the D.A.'s office for reveiw.  Will the police file charges?  Did they actually find probably cause enough to submit?  Not yet.

It is not pending a reveiw.  Curretnly it is pending submission to the D.A.'s office.  Once it has been submitted, it will be pending review..

I don't apologize for things I haven't done.  To do so is to stipulate a lie was true.  No thanks.

Making an issue of Cruz alleged infidelity while ignoring Trumps admitted and repeated infidelity is dishonest.

Raising the issue of Cruz's non-guilt (I assume, in your estimation), compares rather well with someone else that hasn't been proven guilty.

You should be able to understand that.

Perhaps you think Cruz should openly apologize to all those women and his wife, since that frequently avoids sticky situations.  ":^)

I see that the Obama spokesperson now speaks for the Bushes also. The big government leeches are all consolidating in the effort to defeat Trump.

I thought I'd never see the day where a leftist like 0bama would be aligning with a Republican candidate, Ted Cruz, along with his supporters and the Republican establishment.

Prayers for Donald Trump and his family as so many corrupt forces are trying to align to try to destroy him.

Well said, I’ve believed this for a long time now and have completely tuned out most news sources. It’s sad that so many Americans, including some here, allow the enemedia to control the narratives time and time again.

They are really coming unhinged these days. Getting angrier, more smug, more insufferable. If Cruz eeks out a win in Wisconsin, look out, Jim R may have to go a banning. Maybe I will dangle $1000 donation out there to handpick the dozen or so of the most insufferable tools to be Zotted.

That's just crazy and totalitarian just because you don't like what Trump supporters have to say. It's crazy how some of you Cruz supporters do not like Ted Cruz being vetted. I was a Ted Cruz supporter at one time but his vetting proves he's more of the same old establishment than not.

You realize if Cruz does eek out a win in Wisconsin, the Republican establishment wins don't you? Cruz has only proved he is more establishment and just look how he and 0bama are on the same page. They also had the same major donor in Goldman-Sachs in their first run for president. I can link the opensecrets.org link if you'd like as I have done before.
