MADISON, Wis. (AP) – Ted Cruz says there is a risk that Donald Trump supporters would bolt from the Republican Party if he loses the nomination at the GOP convention this summer.

That’s why Cruz said in an interview on WTMJ radio in Milwaukee on Thursday that the best course is for the Texas senator to win a majority of the delegates before then.

The sad thing is that if Ted Cruz didn’t start sucking up to the GOP-e, and instead merely tried to prove he is more conservative than Trump, he would have had a lot more votes. But he’s thoroughly convinced that the GOP-e will give him the nomination at a brokered convention, which is laughably stupid.

Actually, Trump has a great shot at winning with the majority. Cruz has a tiny sliver of a chance. He should step aside.

VOTE TRUMP!

“Mr. Trump’s win in Arizona means Mr. Cruz must win 90 percent of the remaining delegates after March 22 to get to 1,237. The chance of this happening is equivalent to winning the Powerball lottery,” said former Republican National Committee Treasurer Randy Pullen.

Ted Cruz is very close to being mathematically eliminated. Cruz is a complete delusional nut, on par with Kasich, if he thinks he's going to reach 1,237.

“any other candidate making it a tight knit election between repub and hellary.”

I think that Hillary support is grossly over stated. I don’t
think she has all the support most people think she does.
I would love to see her debate Trump though but she wont.
If she did it would have to be on CNN with Kelly on the side.
The only way Cruz would loose to her is if all the but hurt
Trumpsters took their ball and went home. That’s probably what
would happen.

Ted is smart enough to know that the GOPe will dump him at the convention if he manages to keep Trump from getting enough delegates.

I wonder what they promised him in return.

Or I guess I should ask what are they giving Ted in exchange for selling his supporters out.

My guess is DOJ Attny General or Supreme is what Cruz has been promised.

Sounds like the bolts are leaving the nuts to themselves. Looks like the party is going to be screwed.

There is a distinct possibility that Trump could win third-party.
*********************************************

If the GOP schlongs the “majority” of the Republican Party’s voters, it will be time to form a new conservative party. Actually, long past time, this should have been started years ago and we’d have all the growing pains behind us.

I’m in!

Cruz should spend his time selling Ted Cruz to the voters instead of trashing Donald Trump.

Let each man present his own case.

The Ted Cruz PAC attack on Melania Trump opened up a can of rotten worms and has dragged the campaign into the gutter.

I once thought Cruz was a man who would take the high road but that hasn’t been the case.

Even though Cruz has pissed me off at times, I will gladly vote for him, he was my original choice, I like Trump too, that is why I wanted Cruz and Trump to join forces but too many things have been said I just dont see it happening. At one time I hoped that it would happen but I can pretty much let that delusion go, its not gonna happen..If Cruz is the nominee he has my vote, I look at Hillary Clinton, I look at Bernie Sanders, whatever misgivings I have about Cruz I see the two on the other side of the aisle and see that we wont have a country anymore of either one of those douche bags wins

“keep Trump from getting enough delegates.”

There’s a good chance that they may not give it to him even
if he does.

“Actually, Trump has a great shot at winning with the majority. Cruz has a tiny sliver of a chance. He should step aside.”

This is what is so discouraging. It is impossible to believe Cruz does not know this.

Why does Cruz lack the love of America to do the right thing?

When Ted blamed Trump instead of Soros-funded thugs for shutting down Trump’s Chicago event and when he criticized Trump for that idiotic Michelle Fields incident, he lost all moral integrity in my eyes.

I don’t know how Cruz thinks he can get to 1237 by June. It is very close to impossible.

He knows he can't. That's not his goal.

He's a spoiler and he expects the RNC will reward him at a brokered convention.

He wouldn't be the first one to be betrayed by our government. There's a long line.

“tried to prove he is more conservative than Trump,”

Tried to prove? It’s a fact Cruz is conservative and
Trump is not. Where do you get Cruz is not conservative?
Media lies?
