I just worry what Rove would consider a “fresh face.”
I”ve been trying to tell the Cruz guys, that if we get to a contested convention, Cruz won’t be the nominee. The most likely outcome is someone who wasn’t even running, or who was flushed out quickly will wind up the nominee.
This is what happens in poltiics folks, the 2 leading factions can’t get enough support because the other side won’t budge, so after many rounds of voting eventually someone that both sides are willing to support eventually wind the nod and its usually someone who was never in the running at all.
If we wind up with a contested convention, you are going to wind up with JEB or someone else like that as the nominee, not Cruz nor Trump nor Kasich.

The reason Trump has huge crowds showing up but ‘polling negatives’ is BECAUSE OF idiots like Rove and the GOPelite. If they would stop bad-mouthing their biggest landslide potential in decades, maybe they would not have to wet their panties every night.

They’ve already pledged undying loyalty to the Uniparty if they are reacting like this. They don’t want to return to an actual two-party system.

Telling voters that we don’t matter doesn’t seem like a winning strategy to me. I’m pretty sure they can’t use rules to win the general election without voters. But Rove is the expert.
