Insiders: Ted Cruz will capture Wisconsin - Democrats expect a Bernie Sanders victory.
The Politico ^ | April 1, 2016 | Steven Shepard

Ted Cruz will deal Donald Trump an emphatic defeat in Wisconsin next week.

That’s according to The POLITICO Caucus – a panel of activists, strategists and operatives in 10 key battleground states. Nearly nine-in-10 Republicans in those states chose Cruz as the likely winner of next Tuesday’s Wisconsin presidential primary.

Among Democrats, Caucus members by a nearly two-to-one margin predicted Bernie Sanders would defeat Hillary Clinton.

In the Republican race, insiders said Cruz has surged ahead of Trump in Wisconsin thanks to GOP Gov. Scott Walker’s endorsement and an electorate that isn’t as favorable to Trump as those in other states.

“Governor Walker's endorsement will help Cruz,” said one Wisconsin Republican, who, like all respondents, completed the survey this week anonymously. “And Trump's bit just does not play with the southeast Wisconsin GOP base.”

“The drumbeat of doubts about Trump is finally catching up to him, and Ted Cruz will be the beneficiary,” added an Iowa Republican. “Plus, Cruz is working the grassroots hard, knowing those campaign volunteers will turn into Cleveland delegates.”[continued]

Trump needs to suspend his campaign and go back to his golden towers and stay there. Its now evident to all but the most committed Trumpkins that this con artist and vulgarian is simply unfit for prime team. His electoral successes where due mainly because of a very fractured Republican field. As the field winnows, Trump in all polls is now seen as being beaten badly by both Hillary and Bernie.

Those of us old enough to remember the 50’s and 60’s were so blessed, but it is bittersweet that it is only a memory.

So true.

He may well win Wisconsin (I hope and pray not), but it’s a matter of winning the battle and not the war. Ted Cruz, in his typical dishonest fashion, would make it sound like the Second Coming but in reality, it’s not that big of a deal, especially if Donald Trump gets some delegates.

What you are really saying is the polls are “delusional,” unless they show Trump in the lead. WhenTrump crashes, he might wind up leaving his Trumpkins even more powerless and feeling like Trump’s Chumps. At that point, we might have to set a triage for these Trumpkins.

I wonder how many of these “KIDS” on here could live without any of these electronics for one month?

Hell, we never had a TV till I was a tad bit older, and then we only got two channels if we were lucky.

It was baseball in the summer, swimming, fishing and whatever, football in the fall and hunting, and winter it was basketball, ice shinty-since most of us didnt have skates, and sledding as well as ice fishing.

That and CHORES.

It was the very best of times to grow up and to raise kids. My folks always said so.

As kids we entertained ourselves and NEVER needed anything else.

Trump criticized Scott Walker

"There’s a $2.2 billion deficit and the schools were going begging and everything was going begging because he didn’t want to raise taxes ’cause he was going to run for president," Trump said. "So instead of raising taxes, he cut back on schools, he cut back on highways, he cut back on a lot of things."

Wisconsin is proportional.

A group of delegates go to the statewide winner, additional delegates are awarded based on the winner in each congressional district.

It was over when we voted on Super Tuesday in FL for him.
He reminds me of a little kid who hardly ever wins and once he does he never stop going on about it to the kids who always win.
Very annoying.

You don’t have to worry about we Trump supporters, we’re gonna be just fine even if we don’t have Ted Cruz to lead us through the rapture.

As kids we entertained ourselves and NEVER needed anything else.

We grew up in a new development surrounded by woods in suburban Pittsburgh.

We would head to the football field (real football), join up with other friends in the woods, ride our bikes until we didn't know where we were, walk to swim practice in the morning, build forts, dams, and go carts. All of these things we did after morning chores.

We never once feared for our safety (well maybe after the string broke on the tire swing over the ravine), and we had absolute freedom to explore and build skills for later life.

TV was not part of the schedule. We just didn't watch that much. We had more choice in Pittsburgh because we had 5 stations, but it just wasn't part of our childhood culture. At least with the TV we watched, there were no commercials for lawyers, pharmaceuticals and yeast infections!

It was a different time. It was the perfect time to grow up. We lost a very important part of our society. Childhood.
