My question is about the real possibility of a 4 way race. You may not know this but Bernie is on fire right now and he is not going to go down without a fight. He will go indy because he is now winning states by huge and ridiculous margins. Most of us don’t pay attention to the Donkey party but take a look.

The twelfth amendment has nothing to do with Bernie or anyone else running as an independent.

Yeah I can see it now. A rocky balboa pic with sanders face photoshopped on it.

Another option is that he might win the Rat nomination. Rumor has it that the poo is about to hit the fan with Hillary and the email server. I can't see her being nominated with an indictment hanging over her head. If Obama sat on the indictment, the GOP would be handed a gift that only they could screw up. If she were indicted, the super delegates would change their support.
That said, I don't think he would run as an Indy. He's too attached to the 'rats to pull something like that. It would have to be another outsider like Nadar to pull that off.

He's too attached to the 'rats to pull something like that. Have you seen Bernie lately? The man is obsessed. He has an indy run written allover him. He makes Kasich look sane.

12 States have filing deadlines during or before the Republican National Convention. 14 are during or before the Democratic National Convention.
Texas is May 9.
Florida is July 15.

Can you post all the deadlines?

I read one story today where the Libertarian party domo claimed that two R candidates have requested info on running against Johnson for their nomination. Sounded a bit dubious because their convention is in May.

Admittedly I haven’t seen him lately. Earlier when he was winning primaries and losing delegates, I watched him “take his lumps” and not have much to say (New Hampshire). I guess things have changed.

Nope.
The DNC would cut any deal to keep that from happening.
Even Hillary/Bernie (which is a real possibility)

I went to HOA meeting tonight with about 129 attending. Of course topic was trump. Big time write ins if he doesn’t get nomination. I was pleasantly shocked. Big Florida here. I bet there are at least 4 million across the country who would do the same and more if trump pushed it. Proud night.
