The Northeast Kingdom is fairly conservative.....rest of the state not so much.
Quite so, similar to once was the east of Boston populace where I grew up which became ‘Metro West’(the Twinkie factory town).
Same applies (or did, it’s lessening) for the Lakes Region of NH. It was the last bastion of conservatism in that state.
Maine, I don’t know now. It seems that the coastal areas are incursion zones for ideological invasion/infestation.
I suppose to keep a positive outlook, we should remember Lt Col Chesty Puller:
“They’ve got us right where we want them. We can fire in any direction now!”
