Correct, and the Founders called them "factions", and were dead set against them.
The idea that the primary election system (with regard to major party nominations for President) somehow expresses the desires of "the People" is ridiculous. There's no qualification system for electors. I voted in the Democratic primary in NH in 2008, and there's nobody further from being a Democrat than me.
You're onto something with the Uniparty, though. If you conceptualize the primaries as a single party event, to choose the top two for a runoff in November, it kinda makes more sense.
Because the press is a bunch of paid off traitors to the Republic.
So will the de berned supporters go Hillary or switch parties? Will they stay home as conservatives are threatening.
A question I have asked many times, especially of Democrats who fancy themselves fair, open, honest, etc.
Sanders is much more likely to win a general election than Hillary Clinton, IMO - but of course the ticket of Biden/Warren was chosen more than six months ago, so the question of Sanders OR Clinton is kind of irrelevant.
same old questions...no answers ......
I think you’re right.
This is a massive spin operation. Maybe to try to hide something (You and I both know what, but I’m not talking about it, because there is still no real “there” there)
They’re clearly working this at the moment. It would be interesting to know why.
There’s rigging going in both parties going on like I told my wife, a Democrat for Bernie, last night at the dinner table.
The Republicans have their split the delegate rules for the many of the conservative southern states and Texas, then the winner take all formats in more liberal states.
They only ‘bind’ delegates to candidates on the first ballot, but the delegates themselves are picked at a party meeting and are mostly Republican Establishment loyalists.
In Illinois were there actual candidates Republicans voted for as delegates with their Presidential candidate listed next to them.
The Democrats unelected “Superdelegates” force Bernie to win big or lose. Sanders has to get at least 55 percent of the popular vote in each state to break even with Hillary in delegates in most states under the strict proportional rules of the Democrat Party.
Much the same on the Left or Right side. The Uniparty say...
Might explain why Cruz is no longer taking open questions from the Press. You never know when one of them might go off the reservation and ask that question again.
Because the fifth-column leftist media are morally demonicrat.
“By Democrats, do you mean to include include about 90% of todays media in that list??”
I’m sorry, I should have been more clear. In my view the term Democrat is synonymous with communist, liberal, progressive and the media.
Okay....personally, I would expect that the “there” there would certainly be brought of IF Cruz were to get the nomination - all the forces on earth couldn’t stop that because the enemy, having defeated their real fear (Trump), would proceed business as usual - hold your dirt for the last battle.
I can virtually guarantee you that IF he does come out of the convention with a nomination, he will be asked that question OVER and OVER again by Democrats and media, nonstop until Hillary beats him. No question in my mind about that at all.
Because they want the democrats to think that they are democratic. The democrat strategists aren’t out there talking about it every hour, in fact I don’t know if Bernie talks about it.
They are busy, right now, twisting arms, wining and dining, pressuring delegates to follow the Establishment’s lead. We can’t beat them because we aren’t there! Our votes don’t count!
You completely missed the point of the article.
Because one rat is as good/bad as another. Bernie might wreck what’s left of the country a little faster, is all.
The proper term is “DEMOCRAT presidential nomination.” They want you to say democratic because it sounds better but it has been the Democrat Party for many decades.
