What you should do, is go up to the link and listen to the WHOLE conversation.

All the snippets distort what was said. If you prefer to have the news spoon fed to you, then don't bother.

The Townhall was very good and informative. The written highlights, not so much.

Of course, an easier way to voice displeasure with Obamacare would have been to obstain from helping those that foisted it on us get re-elected.

Trump might be more believable if he hadn’t done that.

Just like your idol.

I looked up the interview and Trump said the opposite of what you claim. It’s pretty damn obvious for anyone who’s not desperate for anything to smear him.

In other words:

LIAR.

Trump didn’t say anything about us not being able to defend ourselves... ANY ME country with nukes is a threat to us....

We ship Ford parts to Mexico, for example. My parts. That Trump has his panties in a wad about.

Where do you get this stuff?

Have you read any of his books? Have you listened to his campaign speeches. He is dogmatic about the huge trade imbalance AGAINST the United States.

Trump is FOR exports. We make stuff here using American labor, American ppayroll, and sell the stuff overseas. He has said dozens of times the issue of American firms NOT being allowed to export to foreign countries. Trump wants to tax imports to the same degree we are being taxed in order to makee trade fair. He talks about "Fair Trade" every day.

He has admitted that he buys clothes and building materials from China in order to remain competitive in the US market.

If you owned a business or understood a P&L, you would understand the concept of profit margins. If a company is not profitable, there ain't money to pay the bills, including payroll.

When I was in the steel buisness, we wer fored to buy steel from Japan because the cost was 40% cheaper than buying from Republic or Jones & Laughlin (LTV). We had no choice, or we would have goine bankrupt. Then no one has a job.

Trump wants to fix this situation.

In my opinion, there's a 20% chance that Trump is a fraud of some sort.

What is Trump's motivation to be a fraud? Why does he work non stop, 18 hours a day, six days a week? Does he need the money?

If you accept the premise that this country is FUBAR due to lawyers and politicians running it, then you can maybe understand that an international business tycoon might want to do something to save our Republic, free market capitalism, and defend it form millions of illegals including hundreds of thousands of muslims, many of whom are terrorists.

Perhaps he wants to keep his family secure from the idiocy we're seeing every day and getting worse by the minute.

Aside from the fact that Trump loves America, he also loves his family:

.

Oh well, let's go with Cruz/Ryan and continue with NAFTA and even worse Obamatrade and TPP. Pretty soon, we'll be importing McDonalds' ingrediants from Venezuela or Bengladesh. Even Ted's H1B buddies will be out of work.

>>I punch in at the factory, and Trump may end up costing me my job. But hey, let’s make America great again.

Do you supervise illegal laborers or work at some “green energy” boondoggle company?

Trump also stuck by his suggestion that it’s perhaps time for the U.S. to stop paying most of the bill to defend Japan and South Korea against nuclear-armed North Korea, even if that means touching off a nuclear arms race in the Korean peninsula.

How much exactly does the U.S. pay to defend Japan and Korea? And how much does it spend on NATO?

It’s MORE than just the ‘tax policy’. It’s the swarms of govt agents, the reams of (illegal) rules/regulations, OSHA, EPA, studies, fees, mandates, etc. etc.

The problem is: GOVT.

You can’t ship them to the USA?

I lost a manufacturing job to Mexico (aluminum beverage cans) in 1996, so we cancel out IF you actually DO lose your job.
