AND NOW... amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke... it is time for... that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-The-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he's not retiring until every American agrees with him - do NOT doubt him - with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that's Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back - just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America's anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A real man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander-in-Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do - host. Get ready to what you were born to do - listen. And post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread.

His faithful fans on Fox and Friends suggested that Donald Trump have a ‘quiet’ couple of weeks.

Good suggestion but can Trump do it?

It will be interesting to see what happens in N.Y., Conn., and R.I.

I can't believe that for the first time in many years, my vote in The People's Republik of Connecticut GOP primary is actually going to matter. We vote on April 26th. CT has 28 proportional delegates.

Usually by the time we get to vote in the GOP primary, the race is long over.

BTW, Kasich thinks he's going to win CT. It's possible he might, although there are also a lot of Trump supporters here. I doubt Cruz will get many votes in CT and RI. Not sure about NY.

I still maintain that the Gop-e will be happy with Lyin Ted giving all the Rino establishment endorsements and the fact that Lyin Ted never distance himself from those endorsements. That says a lot to me especially his meeting with Jeb Bush, why would someone who claims to be a outsider meet with someone such as Jeb? To it spells globalist with a capital G.

Look, flailing away at me may be emotionally satisfying but in your heart you must know that Trump himself is his own worst enemy.

Look at how he dropped in his favorite poll. He’s been bragging about the Reuters poll forever and now Cruz is ahead in that poll.

This is the poll that Drudge always posted with a flashing light.

Where is the flashing light now?

If this poll is to be believed, then Trump has torched a 20-point lead that he has basically maintained since late-February.

According to the Reuters poll, Trump started to crater, rather than Cruz simple rising, on March 27. This decline reflects last week when Trump was finally called to heel on his scurrilous attack on Heidi Cruz, when his campaign manager was arrested for assault, and when he committed all manner of other douchebaggery.

It seems like the voters have finally had all the fun they can handle. It is also interesting that Kasich suffered a decline corresponding to Cruz taking the lead. This could indicate that a gradual decision is being made by Republicans to fall in line behind Cruz, despite any philosophical differences they may have with him.

Sounds like an amazing beast!

Cooked ribs though... If he chomped them there could be splinters, no? We had a cat who stole a cooked chicken bone and got it stuck in her throat, gushing blood from her mouth, had to rush her to a vet. Most dogs couldn’t chomp / break a rib but a rott might.

It’s great to be back up and running today! What a nightmare it’s been on FR for the past 24-36 (?) hours.

Wow. Rush just said that the inside joke in the DC establishment is “better to lose with Cruz.” They know that candidates coming out of contested conventions almost never win, but they don’t care. Anything to deny Trump.

“Cruz is a slime”

1) Working with Paul Ryan to pass TPA

2) Support for an increase in H1B Visas(500% increase)

3) Voting for the disastrous Corker Iran Bill

4) Slimy Iowa Tactics against Dr. Ben Carson, and those slimy, threatening mailers sent out to voters

5) Passing out Teddy Bears and Soccer Balls at the Southern Border to Illegals with Glenn Beck

We no need no steenkin FACTS, Man!

Bingo! Exactly for the reason you listed. Sanders at least represent one of my concerns. Which is one more than the GOP. However for now I steadfastly stand for Trump. ☺

Kasich remained in only to win Ohio and keep its 66 delegates from Trump. He stayed after that in hopes of denying 50 percent to Trump in NY, and maybe to try to get some delegates for the GOPe in Pennsylvania. That is his only usefulness. He'll drop out soon after.

Trump should be talking more about this game they are playing, and ask voters why they would vote for candidates who can't win. Get the meme going of "why are you still here?" With Kasich, that can be done now. With Cruz, after NY.

Yes i think trump will clean up in the NE bigger problem there is katsup who will leach off a few more votes as well.

Just anecdotal stuff, for what it's worth:

We know several Trump supporters in CT and RI who were all in to vote for Trump on April 26th. Their enthusiasm has cooled off over the past couple of weeks because of the Trump Heidi vs. Melania Tweet and Chris Matthews interview abortion comment. (These now undecided voters we know are pro-life.)

Nobody cares about the Drama Queen Michelle Fields incident however...

Kasich expects to win CT, last I heard from him... *barf*

I think Rush and Levin are the only reason Cruz is still standing. So many still believe these guys 100% and think Cruz is some kind of savior.

Even now when Cruz is pivoting to “joining the GOP to defeat Hillary” meme, the Cruz bots follow him.

But, Rush, if Cruz got this far because he fought the Washington cartel, if he is the only true conservative, how do you square that with his now being 100% cartel? And if that lone fighter image was his qualification to be Prez, what now? He has no executive experience, no business experience, no Senate successes. Hell any governor on the stage was more qualified than Ted.
