Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani will be voting for a fellow New Yorker: Donald Trump.
"I support Trump. I'm gonna vote for Trump," Giuliani told The New York Post Thursday about his voting intentions in the state's April 19 Republican primary.

It was reported that Giuliani was to meet with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz Thursday, but according to Giuliani, that meeting happened months ago.
Cruz's comments about "New York values" were a big factor for Giuliani.

Now he is all in and even today at his rally in front of a bunch of high school kids in their school gym who looked bored out of their minds mentioned how the republican party has come together and how he was endorsed by Lindsey Graham, Romney, Walker, etc. etc etc

Yeah. I thought Rudy is a gun grabbing cross dresser. Trump must have cured him of that.

Nobody knew what to make of it but we were hoping that Rudy would make a principled switch to Ted Cruz.
We were also speculating as to how Rudy would fare with the little trumpers if he did that.
So, no, nobody was sure what would happen but ...

Ted Cruz, the one everyone says is a “uniter”, the “presidential candidate”, mocks New York.
What an ugly candidate. He’s as bad as those liberals, some here on FR, that HATE the South yet approve of the war to keep the southern States in the union.
On a side note the Tedophiles tried to emulate “The One” but found that while the the taste of boogers is OK, the social stigma blow-back was too painful to continue the practice in public. There are rumors that the practice is still enjoyed in private

I’m not, but SoothingDave is correct when he points out that Rudy was once considered anathema around here. There was a big battle during one primary and a lot of diehard Rudy supporters either left or got booted.
So if some consider Rudy an albatross I figure that it merits a reminder of Cruz’s albatross Beck.
