North American Law Center to Cruz: ‘Two Weeks to Admit You’re a Fraud – or We Will’

“In 2 weeks the North American Law Center will release proof that Ted Cruz is a fraud. They have issued his campaign a warning that if Cruz doesn’t tell the truth and step down they will release their proof – the truth that so many refused to believe or listen to.” – Karen Bracken

The North American Law Center issued this stark notice to the Cruz campaign on their latest podcast on April 3 (19:00 mark) –

“We’re talking about American citizens (who) think a guy who’s Canadian-born is eligible to be a U.S. president – without any documentation whatsoever. If Ted continues on – we are going to release the files we have, two weeks from tonight, and we will bury Ted Cruz forever in American politics… If we have to stop this guy from defrauding this nation, then we are going to do that.” – J.B. Williams, N.A.L.C.

The naturalization act of 1790 definds a natural born citizen. Apparently Cruz qualifies:

“The Act also establishes the United States citizenship of certain children of citizens, born abroad, without the need for naturalization: ‘the children of citizens of the United States that may be born beyond Sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born Citizens: provided, That the right of citizenship shall not descend to persons whose fathers have never been resident in the United States’”

Sorry, your assertion is incorrect. The founders didn’t care if they were born in the US and they didn;t care about the father exclusively. Read what the founding fathers actually passed and signed into law:

“the children of citizens of the United States that may be born beyond Sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born Citizens: provided, That the right of citizenship shall not descend to persons whose fathers have never been resident in the United States”.

You seem to think that residing and being a citizen is the same thing. At the time of Cruz birth his father was not an American citizen. Divided loyalties at birth, EXACTLY what the founders created the NBC to prevent.

Not sure what documentation they have. We know Edward was born in Canada, that Rafael ‘papa’ Cruz
was a Canadian citizen at the time. The only thing we haven’t seen is that mama Cruz was a Canadian
citizen at that time also.

Someone posted about this a few weeks ago...that momma wanted the health benefits in Canada...as reported by a neighbor that gave her name...

Exactly. Everyone *promises* to reveal proof that Cruz is Satan incarnate, but they never actually provide the proof. It’s always just accusations, which a lot of people glom onto, and then later think the proof was provided.

This phony “news” crap against Cruz is getting old. So many false accusations. No proof.

US Code Title 8 Section 1401 subsection G. Sen Cruz was born a US citizen via his mother.

I have to agree. I hate this stuff. I would like nothing more than that it is proven to be a non issue. But not at the expense of the protection against foreign influence the Founders worked so hard to include in our Constitution and to protect in 1795 and in the court cases tried in their lifetimes.

Obama is bad enough but if this is again swept under the carpet anyone will be able to run, a sleeper agent, a person raised abroad with one citizen parent whose loyalties are not American. The whole thing stinks, just one of the many things that stink this political season.

State Supreme Courts have consistently ruled him eligible. When are you going to accept the rulings?

Release it or shut up.

Kinda odd for a “law center” to attempt blackmail.

‘the children of citizens of the United States

Not notice the plural of citizen did you? Cruz father was not an American citizen at birth. So even if 1790 was not superceded Cruz still would not be eligible.

It has been and always will be about divided loyalties at birth. Cruz is not eligible.

Sen Cruz’s father became a Canadian citizen in 1973. There is no record presented so far by anyone that Sen Cruz’s mother gave up her citizenship.

I wish they had done this with Jugears.

Well, O presented a case of first impression. Many of those who took an oath to defend the Constitution chose to ignore the issue or took the position as mine did that, "If he says he was born in Hawaii, that is good enough for me."

I firmly believe that, in the event, a substantial number of our betters simply decided O would be preferable to Hillary.

Amazingly, history has given us a rare second chance at bat and again, Hillary is in play.

This time, however, the choice may not be as difficult depending on one's perspective. The leading candidates include:
- one who by reason of birth in a foreign country to one or more foreign parents is patently ineligible;
- one who by any measure ought to be standing trial for felony behavior that has national security implications;
- a full-blown socialist; and,
- a successful businessman that is not part of the political class.

Divided loyalties at birth. His father was not an American citizen.

Lets put it to the test shall we? Do any of us believe that the founders would allow the love child of an American citizen and King George be eligible to hold the highest office in the land? Of course not.

You just made me think of something I saw some years ago. Ayres and Dohrn in Lebanon. A news story about something they were doing there on ‘human rights,’ but what I heard coming from Dohrn’s mouth was essentially, “think about it. 200 million people voting for President, electronically, from anywhere.” Don’t know why the news let that pass on, but I heard it, and it didn’t match the story. (That story vanished, ‘poof.’)

The Natural Born Citizen issue has to get resolved, or we could have a ‘Syrian’ running, and winning, if we have another election.

Per USCode Title 8 Section 1401, Sen Cruz is a US citizen at birth and has never needed to be naturalized. He is a natural born citizen.

The law doesn’t require both parents to have been born in the USA. The law requires only one parent to be a citizen. Some age and time in country requirements as well.
