If Cruz was bad for the Democrat Party, he would have been out the door last Tuesday.

:)

I doubt it. This is shaping up as the Romney Obama race. Hillary will win because either way a good portion of the Republican base won’t turn out for Cruz or Trump. Yes a non vote for either one is a vote for Hillary but you can’t have such a bloodletting as we have here and not expect it. Yes it won’t be in anyone’s own best interest, but the hate runs deep and it is often human nature to extract revenge even against one’s own interest, it ins’t logical, but it is more often true than not.

The presidency was lying in the street like a shiny gold coin. All the GOP establishment had to do was bend over, pick it up, and stick it in their pocket [support Trump].

Instead, they went Tasmanian Devil on their OWN candidate - because he MIGHT derail the Washington gravy train.

The one good thing that will come of this: The Uniparty has been revealed in all its sordid glory.

And most of the supposed conservative/Republican pundits have been outed as Uniparty.

The pollsters don’t understand that Trump will get as many votes from working class democrats as he will from working class republicans. He will match Reagan or surpass him when it comes to bringing in democrat and independent voters.

Actually it depends on the polls. a lot of polls show Trump beating Hillary and on the ground a lot of people refuse to vote for Cruz (I am one of them). Cruz comes across and what people hate about Christianity - slimy, televangelist who lies and cheats while claiming he is ‘annointed’ that won’t play well in the general.

Once again the GOP is insisting on snapping defeat from the jaws of victory.

Haters are a bore. I make my decisions based on my intelligent analysis of te candidates. Trump is the ONLY chance America has to survive as the Land of the Free, Home of the Brave. He is a true Patriot.
Those who would elect a non eligible contender are aiding and abetting the globalists who are well on the way to destroying America. I call them one and all TRAITORS!
Either defend the Constitution or go somewhere else. The Constitution clearly says CRUZ is NOT a natural born citizen.

Yeah, un huh! That is why Trump is getting so many cross over votes? Did you graduate from first grade without learning your numbers?

That is how you see it, but there are many don’t see it that way, but just because they don’t agree with you doesn’t mean that they are GOPe they or your mortal fight to the death enemy, but that is where we are at.

Many like me just don’t like Trump’s style and feel that they have already endured eight years of a narcissistic megalomaniac who is too often quick to anger no matter how much we agree with his words or his promises.

Funny, I don’t recall Cruz claiming to be anointed.

At any rate, I think the young, articulate, and brilliant Cruz will provide an excellent contrast to the old, worn-out Hilliary show. Trump, not so much - and Trump’s many gaffes have hurt him with the general public. Advocating torture, punishing women for having abortions, ridiculing persons with disabilities - he is frankly embarrassing.

I truthfully think Cruz has a much better shot.
