On the other hand, in the 2012 general election Denver alone voted 209,759 to 69,755 for Obama over Romney. In a city the size of Denver (pop. 634,265), Romney could only manage less than 70,000 votes? So maybe it's possible for a lopsided delegate apportionment at the stage convention.

Your prerogative, of course. I’ve been listening since before he went national (Sunday afternoon show in NYC). Hard for me to believe that he (being a conservative) would endorse anyone but Cruz (a conservative), but I know he had Trump on several times. Roger Stone writes & acts as if he were still working for Trump...

It may be that keeping the party machine intact is the how and why the states do what they do. It’s a mistake though to assume I think that’s a good thing. All I did was offer an explanation.
I see this as an opportunity for those who are really furious about the way their state does things to get involved at the local level...where all this picking and choosing of delegates starts.
You’ve done a lot more homework than I, so I’m not sure about last couple times in Colorado. Didn’t they make a change last time for this year? I read that this focusing on delegates is the way Obama did it.
Given that Mr. Levin has stated numerous times he is now “Never Trump”; I question the appropriateness of this thread on Free Republic.
Perhaps promotion of his show should be suspended here until he regains his sanity and withdraws his absurd “Never Trump” position?

Yes...Levin’s new contract seemed to be the turning point when he started going ballistic against Trump and his “Cruz crush.” Maybe that was part of the terms??
