Donald Trump’s Delegate Manager Begins Employing Same Tactics He Used for Ronald Reagan in 1980
Breitbart News ^ | 11 Apr 2016 | MATTHEW BOYLE

While the tactics of chief Donald Trump rival Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)97% to win delegates without voters come under intense scrutiny, a quiet, thus-far-little-focused-on development has occurred that could provide a ray of hope for the Trump team fighting political insiders on their home turf. Paul Manafort, Trump’s new Republican National Convention manager, just delivered not only a big win in Michigan’s delegate game: He undercut Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) by throwing a separate victory to Ohio Gov. John Kasich. CNN reported on Saturday evening: Ted Cruz suffered a rare convention loss Saturday after delegates backing John Kasich and Donald Trump boxed him out of key positions in the Michigan delegation. The Texas senator’s campaign ran eight delegates for eight committee spots and lost every one, alleging it was ‘double-crossed’ by Kasich supporters. The Michigan delegation picked one Trump supporter, Matt Hall, and one Kasich supporter, Judi Schwalbach, for the two seats on the powerful rules committee. The Cruz campaign lost votes for both seats. CNN’s Tom LoBianco added in his report that this loss is a major defeat for Cruz—and win for Trump—because seats on the convention’s rules committed are “highly coveted prizes for their role in shaping a contested convention in Cleveland.”

So Trump finally shows up to the game. If Cruz starts whining, he’ll be just like Trump!

I don't think Ron would approve of calling fellow conservatives anti-Semitic and members of the Gestapo.

Just a guess mind you.

As a member of the Gestapo...according to Donny the Democrat Donors new delegate hunter and his GOPe henchmen....

Do I get a hat?

The Gestapo did have cool hats....

Heh

Jedi.

It’s a sad commentary that ‘voters’ votes don’t matter as much as ‘back room politics’, which I see a few around here at FR are all dismissive about it because it’s “their man” who’s doing it.

About Time.

Anyone else think that If his Father hadn’t fronted him his first million, He’d be a brick layer in the Bronx?

To be fair, Trump wasn’t doing back room deals until he had to to keep delegates he had already won. Not only that but how is it back room politics to save delegates your votes have won? It seems more like back room politics to require resources being used to defend them.

And they consider themselves to be the “strict constitutionalists” here, when they behave like liberal democrats! Cruze probably wishes that the GOPe were just a little more corrupt so he’d have “superdelgates” like Hitlary does!

Finally shows up to the game? Trump has been working his butt off....and remember - this isn’t a career choice for him. Trump could continue his nice life with his billions, his loving family, his great and fulfilling business, flying around on his incredible private jet. Instead he is busting his butt to fix what is wrong with our country.

You can have your guy who wants the Presidency as the pinnacle of his personal glory.

Agree and to add there were the usual handful on here we see all day and night who post their pro establishment talking points who were two or three months ago saying they hated the establishment.
Once their guy saw his failing campaign and understood the people are not voting for him he joined with the establishment and went after delegates to “influence” tem and I use the term influence lightly.

To hell with what the voters want, we have our rules what we made to suit ourselves, and voters can think they elect someone..

No. He’d likely own the freaking brick company.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Did you know he paid the loan (from his dad) back?

That’s how a LOT of American’s start their businesses....with loans from family....that they pay back....with interest, in many cases.

You see, their families are able to make them a loan...because they themselves busted their own azzes to make enough to be able to make the loan.

It’s kind of a neat concept, because then the NEXT American generation gets to pay it forward, once their business gets off the ground.

Are you having a case of wealth envy?

[Anyone else think that If his Father hadn’t fronted him his first million, He’d be a brick layer in the Bronx?]

Sid Roth’s (It’s Supernatural) guest Rich Vera had a prophetic word about DONALD TRUMP. He has a purpose. We must pray for his protection.

SID:
Tell me about Donald Trump.
RICH:
Donald Trump. Oh my goodness. You know, the Lord gave me a vision
.
I’m not political, I’m not for either party.
SID:
I understand.
RICH:
But the Spirit of the Lord told me that there was a prayer, there was something he had as a
younger man with the Lord that the Lord marked his life and separated him, and because of that is
the prosperity that [he] has experienced, come on his life, in spite of what people believe of his belief
systems. But this is a man who is going to be used of God to bring to light a lot of dirt. For many years to come you’re going to hear him as a man who started in the forefront and in the media to expose the secrets of darkness in society and in government here in America.
