WASHINGTON Ohio Gov. John Kasich called the Republican presidential primary delegate process "bizarre" on Monday and said the Republican National Convention should adopt rules that would open up the nomination to more candidates.

.
Kasich brushed off the notion that the Republican National Convention rules committee might block him from contention for the nomination in July despite Cruz and Trump saying they will support a rule that requires a majority of delegates in eight states to be eligible.
"He spent $1 million making stuff up about me in Wisconsin, of course he would say that," Kasich said of Cruz.
He predicted that the committee will want an "open" not "closed" convention.

[on Faith] He also said he's not as concerned about denominations and divisions.
"I don't find much difference between any of these faiths, they're all about mostly the same thing," Kasich said.

This mealy-mouthed son-of-a-mailman needs to stop. He is repulsive. I do not believe for one minute that he could beat Hillary.
Kasich is a bizarre Republicrat candidate with money from his mentor, Soros, pouring in.
John, even those supporters who voted for you in Ohio are disgusted with your ruinous behavior.
Whatever, John. Cruz or Trump will be the nominee. The establishment has already lost (I wish all Freepers could realize this). Both of the remaining candidates are flawed, but I’m voting GOP regardless.
Based on what I see being demonstrated, Cruz has the nomination if Trump ends up short of 1/2 on the first ballot. He is just better at figuring out the local processes. Ironic that the guy who knows how to deal with local building codes, politics, etc. to create “fabulous” properties, can’t translate that to campaign management. It probably also wouldn’t translate to management of a general campaign or the Presidency itself.
Whenever it says, “John Kasich calls for”, I don’t want to read the rest of the sentence.
The rules decisions will tell everyone whether Trump/Cruz delegates are loyal or just placeholders who are bound to vote for candidates that many of them are eager to betray. If those rules decisions go against Cruz/Trump a week before the convention, Trump and Cruz should give careful thought to their strategy. If the delegates are not loyal, the two leading candidates only control the first round of voting.
he has signed off on every pro-second amendment bill that crossed his desk in Ohio. Ohio is probably more pro-second amendment than Texas right now.
So the eGOP wants to skip the entire primary processes and leave it to them to decide in smoky backrooms.
So much for the party against crime and corruption.
Why doesn’t this a-hole just join the democrats?
And if you don’t like any of those positions Kasich’s response is ‘Grow up and get over it’. There’s not a snowball’s chance in July that I’ll vote for this guy. Absolutely not!
I doubt that very much.
I think you are right, they don’t want other people being placed in nomination. I think that almost everyone would be satisfied if either Trump or Cruz is the nominee. Not happy, but could live with it. If it is Kasich or someone else who hasn’t competed there is will a revolt and millions of Trump and Cruz supporters will stay home!
It’s pretty close. We are a shall certify NFA state and we passed a law that nixes the NICS check if you have a CCW and we honor the CC permits of any and every other state now whether they honor ours or not. We can carry in bars if we aren’t drinking. We can’t have a loaded rifle in our vehicles ever though so you got us there.
Will this be decided by the money of the *Advertisers* ?
Your next GOP Nominee for President. You can thank Benedict Cruz.
Drop out now, John
We have open carry now for those with CC permits. But I am impressed with Ohio’s progress.
