Illegals are now essentially US citizens so why not Kenyans and Canadians? Rules are made to be broken, especially when there’s a boatload of cash being shoved under his robes.

From the Nationality Act of 1940:

“In the case of a child born to one U.S. citizen parent and one alien parent, the U.S. citizen parent now had only to be physically present in the United States or its outlying possessions prior to the child’s birth for 10 years, at least 5 of which were after the age of 14.

Cruz’s mother satisfies this requirement.

A couple of the questions about Obama’s birth certificate
( I think he was born in Hawaii though there are some interesting questions about his mother’s report air travels about the time he was born).

Is his real father Barack Obama Sr? If so, let’s see it and settle the issue once and for all

Was he born in the hospital mentioned on the Certificate of Birth? If so, fine.

Who was the attending delivery doctor? Nothing big about this but it would interesting to know.

Why did Obama say he was conceived after his parents attended a civil rights march when he was born years after it happened? Long, elephant-like pregnancy or just another Obama lie?

Any way we look at it, the American Left elected the first fully blown Marxist as president of the US, twice. That is the same of what our country has become, a tribute to the Soviet/Communists success at deceiving the American people about who Obama really is, and it shows the stupidity of half of America in electing a Red con-man.

“And Hillary is rubbing her hands in Glee over the October Surprise..”

What happens if Trump picks Cruz as his VP, now that this is resolved?

Whatever the lawyers say.

According to this DOUCHEBAGS logic, the TALIBAN can rape American women in Pakistan and the issue will be eligible to be POTUS.

Kind of like the CPUSA did with Obama.

You can find me at the Mall on January 20, 2017 cheering on the first inauguration of Ted Cruz.

How many court rulings are needed before Trump says he’s sorry? Or at least says ok thanks for clearing that up Ted. I guess Trump would consider Ted as part of his VP selection process again :-)

“A New Jersey judge has ruled that Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz meets the constitutional requirements to be president and may appear on the state's presidential primary ballot.”

I'm glad Trump has stopped tying his credibility to the lost clause. The court findings in Cruz's favor are conclusive. Cruz is eligible.

Now Trump should quietly flash the signal to the cells in each state: drop the matter.

“Just my opinion, and as I said, it is submitted respectfully”

I appreciate that. I also agree the scenario is beyond absurd but situations pushed to the extreme often help when pondering intent.

I believe the natural born clause is a protection, left to us by the founders to midigate the possibility of anyone foriegn usurping the highest office in the nation.

With that in mind I propose the question of ole George’s son getting a crack at the office, and what I believe the founders would do.

If the natural born clause is truly to mitigate divided loyalties then there is no way (in my opinion) that the original intent would allow King George son, or in this case Cruz.

"We might as well have had a Constitutional requirement that the President be a freeblesnork."

Maybe we should run our government according to Lewis Carroll's poem Jabberwocky

It might make more sense.

If one has to cite laws, statutes, or USSC precedents to try and win the natural born Citizen argument, they’ve already lost.

Natural....of nature, not of man. Easy peasy....

Wow so I guess if someone is born in Iran to an American mother and Iranian father and is raised in Iran through the “religion of peace” and believes women are 2nd class citizens, Jews must killed, gays must be hanged, 9 year old girls must be raped, he too can be President of the US

Framers intention:l for natural born: born on American soil of two American citizens.

Not written anywhere, ever -- except by deluded FR commenters.

May I ask you what you believe the natural born clause was for?

Secondarily how many of the three piece puzzle (American citizen father, American citizen mother and American soil) do you believe is need to be a natural born citizen?

That is how it is run. By hallucinating things into and out of the constitution, depending on the outcome the royalty/jabberwocky prefers.
