During Wednesday night’s live broadcast of the Cruz family Town Hall on CNN, one of the daughters of Texas Senator Ted Cruz seems to have let it slip that there is video of her father in a bizarre wardrobe choice that his PR team is almost certainly tracking down as we speak.
The Republican candidate for President and his wife Heidi were joined by their two daughters on stage with Anderson Cooper during a late portion of the broadcast. In keeping with the Town Halls this week, which were often focused on more personal elements of the candidates and their families, Cruz discussed a recent Daddy-Daughter picnic at school. To demonstrate some of the everyday goofiness in his role as Father in Chief, Cruz relayed a harmless story of fatherly dress-up.
“She got to dress up Daddy in a pink boa and these like, big goofy-looking underwear…” explained the Texas Senator.

As far as dads go, I don’t see trump being the tea party Broadway singing dad. I will give Cruz the win on fun dad award for sure. But who is best for the country goes to trump....that doesn’t mean Cruz is out forever.

Good question, personally I don’t really want to know anything about his private clothing preferences as long as his kids are not being exposed to anything inappropriate. This sort of media clap trap all started with the infamous question of Bill Clinton, i.e. “boxers or briefs?”
If Bubba had exercised more self control and kept his trouser snake in line, he wouldn’t be considered by so many Americans as being nothing but a slimy sexual predator.

A ‘man’ answers a simple question. It was a pretty easy one, IMO, even if the answer wasn’t because of ‘break’ circumstances. I’d have had infinitely more respect for him if he’d told iCarly, “No, I’ve got this” and then answered.

You can finance the ad humanizing Cruz by showing him cross dressing. This used to be taboo; no wonder this generation is so confused.

I think this is a delightful story and it has to be innocent fun given there’s a tape or film.
Good for him. Takes a special man willing to be not just Father, but Daddy to his kids. Shows he values what’s important to them. Had a coworker show up one day with a My Little Pony band-aid on his hand, because his 5 year old daughter was “in charge” of picking out the kind of band-aids they bought in their family.
Donald was a strikingly handsome man in his younger days- and still is for an older man. He’s fun and charismatic.
As for your GOPe man, he’s just plain ugly.

Very true. I am glad that Cruz might have a good relationship with his girls. Cruz had a horrible childhood so he probably over compensates with the daughters ensuring they have a good one. The only thing I would have recommend to Cruz early on was not have the family in one state and he in another and only home on weekends. That’s not enough time. Both parents are so driven in their careers that they didn’t put the kids first. Living in a dump would be better for the kids with both parents living in the same city and house then what these two do.
It’s funny I saw a TV commercial just like this yesterday and chuckled. I can see my nephew doing the same thing for his two little princesses.
Well I’ll say this much, IF Cruz were to make it to the White House, we could be sure that the Cruz daughters would be raised properly with good values, and would grow up to be good role models for American kids, as contrasted with the two little upcoming radical thugettes in the Obama household.
When the parents both hate America with every fiber of their being, that can’t help but be passed down to their unfortunate offspring, what are their names again, Mahoolio and Malaria?
