Proof that Ted Cruz is very much disliked among Republicans was demonstrated over the Planned Parenthood issue. Cruz is being ignored in Congress. On Monday night, Republicans ignored Cruzs attempt to disrupt Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnells efforts to fund the government without attacking Planned Parenthood. This incident demonstrates that Cruz would not have the support of his party if president. It was highly unusual, but the Republicans denied him a sufficient second that would have allowed him a roll call vote. Then, Cruzs Republican colleagues loudly responded no when Cruz sought a voice vote. Twice, the Republicans showed how little support Cruz actually has and his religious agenda would only alienate the Party. Talk on the Hill, actually began to swing toward Trump. Some are now saying that if Trump has the majority of delegates say 1100 but shy of the requirement, he should be nominated. This is a real turn of events to put it mildly.
I’ve had just about as much as I can take of the Cubanadian.
First he voted for cloture for TPA, advancing TPP.
Then he voted for the Corker bill, turning the Constitution on its head, 2/3 vote required to reject instead of 2/3 required for passage.
He wouldn’t say anything about enforcement on llegal aliens until recently when he had no choice.
Blaming Soros paid agitators on Trump was the breaking point for many.
Joining the Alinsky tactics in Chicago and with Fields does not speak well of him.
He’s not as bad as Romney or McCain, so I guess if he gets the nomination, I will hold my nose, but it may require some shots of the bottle of Elijah Craig I bought to celebrate ¡Yeb! dropping out.
God your a hoot. That’s your main issue? Wow. You see America practically perfect. Good for you.
Where do you find the audacity to speak for Jerry Falwell? You knew Rev. Falwell better than his own son? I’m sure he’d be amused to hear from you.
You may want to listen to the heart-warming speech of solid support he gave and where he mentions his father’s ideas and viewpoints. here’s a snippet of Falwell’s endorsement of Donald Trump:
“I admit my view of the world is colored by my legal and business experiences at Liberty. I respect the opinions of those who believe that it is now more important to elect a career politician who shares their constitutional views or someone who shares their faith instead of a business professional, but I cannot agree.
In my opinion, this nation needs a citizen legislator who is a tough negotiator, one who has gone head to head with the best business minds in the world and won, a businessman who has built companies from the ground up, and who will use those experiences to be tough with China, ISIS and nations that are taking advantage of the United States by stealing our jobs.”
But, if Beck floats your boat, hey that’s fine. Enjoy.
I know of at least 4 or 5 that flipped because of the Chicago thing.
It was a fairly obvious indication of character, or the lack of it thereof.
Calm down, and repeat after me:
*Go* TRUMP!
Indict Hillary!
Repatriate Ted!
Kibbutz Bernie!
LOL
What conservative bill has Cruz led to passage in the senate?
Talk is cheap. Where are actual results?
Opposing Planned Parenthood is not a “religious agenda.”
It’s doing what’s right.
In my opinion, Jerry Falwell, Sr. would be appalled.
btw, Ted Cruz has been entered in exactly one more political contest than the Donald and has been a politician for approximately 5 years. Career politician? Hardly.
If you dig out the polling for the entire South, the most Conservative Evangelical Christians voted for Trump. Same in NH and the current polling in upstate NY.
Sorry. I didn't say it was a religious agenda. Not sure why you are posting to me...
I’m not doing your homework for you, but here...

He is also doing fantastic with Christians and Patriots.
No sideshow, nice try.
Send Jerry Falwell, Jr a tweet, bet he’d value your opinion.

Every word Ted Cruz speaks FOR the unborn [and their mothers], IS an accomplishment! Would you tell Mother Teresa, for instance, she did nothing for the unborn? Here’s a video link from Ted Cruz on pro-life. Again, this is an accomplishment. He’s defending the babies; they appreciate it. So does Jesus!

Wow, good response and fair handed.
I am not even sure Trump is more than a figurative/nominal Christian, his comment about not asking or needing for forgiveness kind of misses the mark. I very much doubt he is more than a cultural Christian, though I have no way of known what is really in the mans heart.
That said I would ask you this: A Christian is not supposed to bear false witness against someone else. To me that is up there with the other big 10. Now having seen number of Cruz’s comments on Trump, it is hard to say the are not exactly that.
here is one example, by no means in isolation:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YwAMhIEG4d4
There are a number of statements in that speech which are representing Trumps current stances falsely. That is bearing false witness to me.
if you need it more explicit here are 3 between 6:10 and 8:20:
1) He says Donald trump was part of the Washington deal making establishment. There is and was no evidence of that, though one could certainly call him a new York deal maker. Samll but a falsehood.
2) He says Donald trump has pledged to expand Obamacare into a fully socialized medicine plan. Donald said no such thing, he wanted to destroy it and said exactly that at least three times prior to march 1, once at a debate where Cruz was standing next to him. It is a boldfaced lie, a deliberate false representation, meant to deceive the listener. I see no other interpretation possible.
3) he says Donald trump will compromise the 2nd amendment, when in fact if you compare the two candidates plank on their respective campaign pages, trump has a better more offensive plan to restore lost 2nd amendment rights than Ted Cruz. Again it is a falsehood and one meant to deceive the listener.
In light of that, can you see how some folks would rightly be suspicious of Sir Ted. He seems to some as more of an Elmer Gantry personality than a deeply religious man for whose behavior is limited by his belief.
of course there may be another interpretation, but can you see what a trump fan would see it that way?
Trump is pro-Life.
Trump has contributed to NYC politicians as well as to Republicans nation wide.
There are virtually no Republicans to vote for, in NYC. TRUMP is in business in NYC and abroad. Policy and favors matter, in order to employ all the people and contractors Trump employs.
Unlike Cruz, TRUMP actually works for a living, in the public sector, at the mercy of these insiders.
So, lying about TRUMP does not help your candidate.
Buy a clue. You would have to grow up first though.
One thing that you failed to mention (and which most people don’t realize): This is the second time that Donald Trump has run for President.
