New York GOP braces for massive anti-Trump protests at annual gala

Liberal activists plan a massive demonstration in New York City Thursday night to protest Donald Trump's appearance at the New York State Republican Committee's annual gala.

The immigrant advocacy group Make the Road Action, along with several others, are calling on New Yorkers who find themselves at odds with the Republican presidential front-runner to gather outside the Grand Hyatt Hotel Thursday evening where the state GOP plans to host all three Republican hopefuls for a black tie fundraiser that costs $1,000 to attend.

"A collection of organizations and independent New Yorkers are mobilizing to shut down Trump and oppose creeping Trumpism under the banner #HateFreeNY," the group wrote in a press release sent Wednesday.

Nine other groups, including the Muslim Democratic Club of New York and United We Dream Action, joined Make the Road Action in organizing the anti-Trump protests.

"Inside the 4-star Grand Hyatt New York on Thursday evening, Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at the New York state Republican Gala, a high-status, black tie fundraising dinner that costs $1,000 to attend.

Outside the hotel, thousands of people are scheduled to protest the event — with the explicit intention of shutting it down. The demonstration is free to the general public. We intend to do what the city’s elected so-called leaders refuse to do — and shut down Trump from spreading his hateful message.

“Trump’s rhetoric is an instigation to racist, anti-migrant and misogynist violence,” said Kalisa Moore, part of the Stop Trump Coalition, in an emailed statement previewing the protest. “As a matter of self-defense and protection of New Yorkers, we intend to do what the city’s elected so-called leaders refuse to do — and shut down Trump from spreading his hateful message.”

As you can see the protesters are being quite explicit in their plans not merely to protest, but to shut down the event.

The commies, along with a full salad bowl of the usual useful-idiots, are all over this, early Twitter feeds include several of people carrying Communist Party banners.

At some point these disruptive protests with their refusal to even permit Trump to speak, will be met with counter-protests.

Leftist agitators actually work to elicit counter-protests, and then to push them towards violence. This is termed "encouraging the dialectic" in community organizer terms.

When (not if) we get to the level of competing groups staging running street battles in the name of politics we will be further down the road to what many feel is inevitable.

This protest is taking place without coordination with the police intentionally, the goals being to tie up traffic in the very center of the largest urban center in America, and generally cause maximum mayhem.

Black-masked anarchists tried to crash the Trump rally at the Convention Center. They at first pepper-sprayed and then physically attacked the cops. Four police were injured.

You take numerous cans of bear/pepper spray , a bunch of sturdy balloons , and some jugs of water , up into the heights above where the riots will be staged . A bit of water in to the balloons , a good shot of pepper spray in to the balloons as well , tie them off and over they go .

They did this same sh*t in Chicago some weeks ago. It was all organized on Twitter and Facebook for the express purpose of shutting Trump down and eliciting violence.

Better get screen snapshots of everything because they did a damn' good job of cleaning up after themselves once the protests started and there was hardly any evidence left that they'd planned it online.

I've seen cattle prods used on belligerent cows and bulls. One jolt and they kick both their hind legs 5 feet into the air. Funny as hell. And that would be great for protesters trying to attack police. It would slam these filthy Soros paid protesters flat on the floor. And it would be great to see old bast*ard Soros himself get a couple jolts.
