You completely missed the point of his stories in your hatred for the man. He pointed out the difference between capitalism and Marxism. Something that has not been explained in 30 years. Went completely over your head and was a great speech except for the NY values part.

BBBwwwwahahahaha! “He pointed out the difference between capitalism and Marxism.”

I don’t know what intellectual diatribe you were listening to but it sure wasn’t about the lawsuit Grand Hyatt NYC. Now wasn’t that an enlightening battle. Blaming things on being a hard time for the city...(was that a whine I heard?).

“I love speaking at the Grand Hyatt. I built this building...”

Uh, half the building. Uh, 1/4 since it was redone? Well it has been stripped of all the mirrors and gold glitz. LOL This isn’t one of Saddam Hussein’s palaces. or was it?

“Mr. Trump was able to negotiate an unprecedented contract in which the city provided a 40-year tax abatement, the first ever granted to a commercial property.”

See the historical building:

I was just looking at the google map image of the mirrored outside of the hyatt. As if the building doesn’t have it’s own soul but is just a reflection of the greatness surrounding it.

I’ve been reading about his building history. So terribly enlightening. I had to LOL at this...

“In his books and his speeches, Trump is always bragging about his accomplishments, repeating the same ones over and over again. How he transformed the derelict Commodore Hotel in New York. How he saved the Wollman Rink project. How he acquired 40 Wall Street. How he fought his way back from billion-dollar debt in the 1990s. It can become soul-deadening to hear hours at a time.” But in the end the guy says it all...

“I was relieved to emerge from the Trump empire with my sanity intact, and with a new appreciation for the man. Trump isn’t who you think he is: A great American huckster with a stringy maize mop. He’s who he thinks he is: A GREAT AMERICAN LEADER WHO CAN MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, TOO ™. A leader who has the goods to back it up, unlike a President Carter or a President Reagan. Trump’s irrepressible self-belief in the face of an establishment that spurns him is what ultimately endears him to voters.”

DT also believes the city will outlive all of them but he knows nothing of moral decay and the wrath of God. We have seen a glimpse and been forewarned (those warnings were re-called or like in a campaign - backtracked) but that is another discussion. That is the NY value discussion.

[1994 - granted when DT fails it’s always the other guy who is out to get him...] Title: Hyatt Owners Sue Trump for $100 Million : Real estate: They contend the developer did not pay his share for renovations to a jointly owned New York hotel.

In addition, the suit says Trump secretly ceded his interest in the Grand Hyatt to Bankers Trust Co. and Chemical Bank, two of his leading creditors.

That move, an apparent violation of his partnership agreement with Hyatt, left Hyatt in the uneasy position of having two sets of partners: Trump, who had a veto over management plans but no financial interest in the outcome, and the banks, which had a financial interest but no vote.

Yes he did appeal until “Trump Sells Hyatt Share To Pritzkers”

“Donald J. Trump sold his half interest in the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York to the Pritzker family’s Hyatt Corporation yesterday for $140 million, bringing to an end an often rancorous, 17-year partnership in a landmark property that marked the developer’s rise to prominence.”

Lee Iaccoca: “Word is getting around about this, “Iacocca said. “People think that I`m thinking about becoming a real estate tycoon. I`m not. I`m in the car business. I`ve always believed that you are born for one business. I`m Donald Trump`s partner and real estate is his business.”

ruh roh, he better stick with real estate.

The business ignorance, here of late, is astonishing.

I agree...their hatred is clouding any pinpoint of common sense they may possess.
