For a man that has never been directly involved in politics and had no grass roots campaign and just ‘stepped in off the street’ he’s done awesomely well.
8,263,231 votes.
Just think, if the cronyism controlled caucus states actually held real elections, that number could have easily topped 12 or 15 million!
On Carlin’s rant -It’s a really a matter of semantics, “The Club”= “The Party”
....” a man that has never been directly involved in politics”.....
Trump has been directly involved in politics his whole life...that does not mean one has to run for office to have direct involvement with politics .....just look at all those in his campaign that haven’t run for office but they are directly involved with his campaign.
Trumps job is to know the game rules...and that of his campaign team. He has not done awesomely well or he wouldn’t be whining and striking out as he’s doing....which he does when he’s not winning.
Trump knew that delegates mattered or he would not have been tooting his horn about those won at every rally. So you saying what he has or hasn’t done makes no difference.....he obviously failed to put together an “effective” ground game, he’s failed to show up when he should have, and further there’s no doubt he underestimated Cruz’s ability to compete.
What an “enlightening” comment. It was so full of facts and illustrations that you’ve convinced me not to vote for Trump after all....not!
BTW, since you can obviously tell the future, care to divulge this week’s Power Ball numbers?
