The problem with the processes in each state is that all the suddenly angry voters somehow think the process should be how THEY think it should be,.... failing utterly to realize that it is THEIR process but they just chose not be involved.

GOPe to Republican voters: You F-ed up - you trusted us!!!

No it isn't about trust...it's about involving oneself in the election process on a local level, joining committees and such.....politics always begins at the local level.

And BTW the corruption happens even at the local level, it's control and power, tricks and deception abounds, and if you're not connected with those in the know then you'll fall in the landmines.

I've served in several local committees and organizations....and is exactly why I got involved in politics. It's not just in the political field...this is in every organization there is. We somehow want to believe that people in politics should have a higher standard....but they don't, they just know how to conceal and hide their corruption better the higher the go.

It's all nasty business....and it is a "game" you need to know the rules, not to follow them but to weave inside and outside them sufficient to "appear" you're following them. But the rules will always be what's used to take someone down or use them who doesn't know the game.

I didn't know the rules nor the game....so of course I was used and all the time was congratulated for my hard work....the reward I did not seek but was "nominated" for a position which required a vote. It required only that I be present and "they" would take care of the rest. I was unanimously voted in. and now an "Insider".

You learn alot then...and you discover the corruption very quickly. Who has the power, how people are seated and the significance of that seating...and all the seemingly "details" of "serving" and "watching your back".

I say this because in reality if you're not involved then you are a spectator. ...and the powers that be will do it their way if you aren't involved to affect their decisions.

Well done.

The last time I saw something that well written, it came from Mark Steyn.

And Steyn is the Grand Master of political commentary in the modern era.
