Reince Priebus, chairman of the Republican National Committee, says Donald Trump complaining about the way Colorado's delegates were chosen is "distracting." Priebus said it "really isn't something that most people give a darn about." Priebus said not moving past this is this gets in the way of unifying the party.
Priebus tried to distance himself from the controversial process, saying he doesn't write the rules for the Republican party, "the delegates at the convention write the rules." However, Priebus defended the process and said it's "pretty much the same system the Democrats use; delegates and voters choose the nominee."

Those rules were fair.
And Priebus is squirming like a rat.
You swallow. So there.
Most people don’t give a damn about Rancid Proboscis.
I find it funny how all the RNC is talking about unity in the party, but I’ve never seen the party attempting to take down its frontrunner before. How many millions have been spent in attack ads, how many barrels of ink and cyber ink been poured into the fight against Trump? How many legions of talking heads making the rounds to every show on earth are out there?
Just think if the party had shown this much fight against 0bama in 2008, he might not have been elected. Once there is a nominee, are they going to spend as much time and effort to take Hillary down? Something tells me they aren’t.
Hey don’t send him back here to Wisconsin, we just got rid of him not too long ago.
Split the difference and say, Siberia?
I have no problem with winner take all because in every other competition there is only one winner. If you win three games out of seven in the World Series, you lose. If you cross the finish line second or third in any race, you lose. A Touchdown a minute after the game ends does not count. So quit your bellyaching about percentages. The winner is the winner and when it comes to the presidency, there are no “participation” trophies!
I'm sure the good residents of Colorado might have a differing opinion.
I wasn’t bellyaching. You missed my point. They were the rules and every candidate knew them going into it. Trump knew the Colorado process or should have known since last August. If it was poorly designed it certainly wasn’t to benefit Cruz last August. Trump is the one bellyaching. But he has
played this well and I believe it will accrue to his benefit.
You’ve been a FR member here for 11 years and have a 5 page posting history.
Don’t be surprised when no one takes you seriously. You’re just another FR sleeper troll that shows up during election years.
The people in CO seem a little pizzed though. :-)
“Was it corruption in South Carolina where 33% of the vote yielded 100% of the delegates.”
No because the voters were allowed to vote.
Let Sarah Palin Shoot Reindeer Penis and mount him the Tea Party’s wall. After all he declared war on the Tea Party and has done nothing to punish the IRS for going after them.
The guys is a fool and a punk!
“To the victor go the spoils.”
Unless you’re Ted Cruz and the GOP. Then you can just cancel the competition and make off with the spoils.
And that’s why people don’t like what Cruz and the GOP are pulling.
Nobody is screaming or whining over here on the Trump side. Those are your words. Just pointing out that it’s rigged, which it is
Or at least they tried to rig it. Most of the time it backfires on them and works to Trump’s advantage, as you point out. Trump isn’t whining about it, in fact he gets a kick out of it.
His favorite example of the attempted rigging that he uses in his rally speeches is Florida. They tried to rig it by making it WTA, back when they thought Jeb would win. Then, when it turned out Trump was way ahead in the polls, it was too late. Oops.
LOL
The main point is the people of South Carolina got to vote. It was not a caucus or a straw vote or some other shenanigan.
Reince couldn’t be more out of touch with the voters if he tried.
Bubble boy - and his traveling band of morons.
