From the poll previously, Trump is steady at 54% (big lead!) while Kasich went from 21% to 25% while Cruz dropped from 18% to 16%, a distant third. Cruz is going nowhere.

If Trump can’t get 55% he should just drop out of the race.

Just wait. It will probably come.

support for the Texas senator recently has trailed off

Well, that's a kind way to put it.

If Cruz finishes a distant third and 40 points behind Trump, what a kick in the stomach it will be.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is a distant third, as the top choice of 16% of likely Republican voters.

ROTFLMAO! Ted Cruz can't even top John Kasich in these New England states!

Yeap, quite a viable candidate you Cruzbots have yourself there: can't win the South. Can't win the Northeast. Can't win in Florida. Exactly where does Ted Cruz expect to get the rest of his delegates and achieve a majority?

Oh, that's right: Cruz can't get a majority.

All Cruz can do is play directly into the hands of the GOPe in their effort to sabotage the party's own frontrunner.

Ihe GOPe and Ted Cruz are on an apparent suicide mission to ignore the voters & splinter their party irreparably as a result.

So be it.

Conservative "purists" (not that it's possible to be "pure" by embracing the unprincipled and nakedly opportunist Cruz campaign) have truly jumped the shark this time around.

Bring it on. Let the bloody battle ensue. No apologies once the smoke clears...

Thebest part will be Cruz coming in third in the low teens but giving a great victory speech.

Since this is the WSJ/PMSNBC Trump hating poll, add at least 5% more to Trump’s percentage.

Slick Teddie falls below 10%. Don’t think so? Name the Congressional District he wins. Kay-sick doesn’t win any either. Trump sweeps NYS.

Not only the NY poll, but FOX just released a NATIONAL poll today which shows Trump tops Cruz by 45-27 percent among GOP primary voters in a new Fox News national poll on the 2016 election. John Kasich comes in third with 25 percent.

It is clear as day, the base wants Trump, not Cruz. In fact, Cruz is on his way down, I would rather see Kasich in second at this juncture than that “double agent delegates” Cruz and his talk about “winning delegates” instead of “winning votes” - because he can’t win votes, he needs to be stopped along with the GOPe double agent delegate rape of the base vote.

I think it's absurd Trump seems to be gaining support because Ted Cruz followed the Colorado rules, had the organization to do what he needed to do to win the Colorado delegates in a process made by the state of Colorado. Lack of organization will kill Trump in a general election. His kids complain because they can't vote in the NY primary but my recently turned 18 year old high school student was smart enough to figure out the rules and get herself registered. None of this is rocket science.

This 29 point lead is only New York. In the most recent national poll he is being devastated by only having a 19 point lead. So no wonder he has to cheat by suggesting that delegates that he wins should be people that represent him!

Now all Trump has to do is seal the deal and win the 27 districts. Or he can lose a bunch of those and whine about the process.

Just their talking up a contested convention with sophomoric glee and totally ignoring how this enables the GOPe agenda to silence the voice of the base and their mandate and vote, just shows how disgusting so many of these Cruzbots are who totally disrespect the Republican base majority, their voice, their vote, their mandate, and are in glee over fascist tactics just because their second rate candidate cannot win the votes and would be so un-American and so creepy, if they had their way it would totally destroy the Republican Party. A reformation for the Party is coming, and a root canal due for these types of stupid frogs.
