Facebook denies that it would ever try to influence the election

Facebook is pushing back on the idea that it could tilt the scales in the presidential election against Donald Trump.

Gizmodo published a screenshot Friday of an internal poll that Facebook employees were purportedly using to decide what questions to ask CEO Mark Zuckerberg at a meeting in March.

Several of the questions concerned either the company’s business position or internal matters, but one was about politics: “What responsibility does Facebook have to prevent President Trump in 2017?” Some employees apparently voted for the question to be posed to the CEO. Gizmodo speculated that Facebook could downplay stories and posts related to Trump in its New Feed, potentially putting a damper on his campaign.

A spokesperson for the company says it cannot confirm or deny leaks but bristled at the suggestion it would seek to help or hinder any political candidate.

"We encourage any and all candidates, groups, and voters to use our platform to share their views on the election and debate the issues,” the spokesperson said in a statement.

“We as a company are neutral — we have not and will not use our products in a way that attempts to influence how people vote.”

Zuckerberg has been a champion of immigration reform, and took a veiled shot at Trump during his remarks to the company’s F8 developers conference.

"I hear fearful voices calling for building walls and distancing people they label as others, for blocking free expression, for slowing immigration, reducing trade and, in some cases around the world, even cutting access to the internet,” he said.

Who thinks of denying an action unless they are already doing the thing they are denying?

BS....do you all remember that open mic moment with him and Merkle? She was complaining to him how people on facebook could complain about their precious invaders/shariatypes.

Facebook is evil. I constantly stops threads that isn’t going with their agenda. Merkle and her ilk will toss people in jail for telling the truth. She just put someone in jail for speaking out against the leader of Turkey.

Facebook will do everything it can along with the WH/Soros/NWO/GOPe to stop Trump.

Oh, of course not.

And Obama would never try to influence an election either.

OK, now this wonderful bridge is for sale and I can get it for you real cheap. We’ll need the money up-front, of course.....

Facebook and Twitter are tools of the power structure (oligarchs.)

Look how they ban pro-2nd amendment sites and under cover videos that expose liberals (but not conservatives) and many other ‘conservative’ views.

Mark Zuckerberg himself has Presidential ambitions. And, yes, he will use Facebook to build his “political tent” and pave his face for his agenda - open borders, amnesty, et all. Whoever, whatever Party best forwards this agenda - both are currently - that is the Party he will run under. In fact, if this double agent delegates crap isn’t stopped in the Republican Party, and Cruz right now is enabling the GOPe with such suffocation of the vote, it could very well be the Republican Party that this globalist agent runs under.
