I’m all for U.S. citizens being able to directly address complaints to the U.S. President on television.

No, remember, they were fixed in ONE city. And this is the U.S. We have a federal system. Potholes in Rochester, Minnesota and none of the President’s damn business. Let the local municipality handle it. If they don’t, vote them out. I don’t want a dictatorship - even a “benign” one that fixes potholes.
