Actually, there are large and growing numbers of snot-nosed kids that need a good whipping.
I’m on the principal’s side.
I would not object to the school authorities spanking my child, though I or my wife would be present.
Paddle my kid in front of me ? I don’t thinks so.
I smell a huge lawsuit coming on.
Did the child get a paddling because his mom didn’t take him to school or for something he did, I wonder.
they barely TOUCHED the kid with it.
he spit at a teacher.
and newswit anchorwoman cried in her dressing room!!!
another anchorwoman was outraged.
and millions more (excepting FReepers) will destroy the country once and for all in the Nov. election unless men turn out in insane numbers against hitlary.
She should have applauded the principal for doing her job, better yet, the father’s job, and when he got home added to the punishment. If it had been me when I was a kid, I would be eating of the mantle for a week until my butt cooled off.
This was a five year old child who engaged in fairly typical “naughty” behavior. Nothing dangerous. Nothing that would cause severe injury to another. The principal lied to the mother by threatening her with jail time if the child was given suspension. This was not proper discipline. This was assault. Hitting a five year old child who is obviously already traumatized with a wooden paddle is inexcusable. It is not a “good whipping”. Which if you mean a spanking on the bottom should only be done by a parent or other loving family member.

She’s a lousy-assed mother, but five is too young to paddle.
This is garbage. I think the mother wanted her fifteen minutes of fame and it was a setup at the expense of the kid. Mom should go to jail. There’s no real mother out there that would watch this crap, film it, and then cry foul. If it was my child there would be two women laid out on the floor.
discipline?...yes....
frankly I don't trust the instincts of many teachers and I wouldn't trust them to have any common sense in reguard to the quaint old term "paddling"....
these children are NOT their children...
Having had experience with a few downright evil, twisted public school officials and teachers, I would never allow them to touch my child. We ain’t in Kansas anymore.
