Entering the Orbit of a Total Narcissist: Who's Who in Donald Trump's Inner Circle
The Guardian ^ | April 15 2016 | on Swaine, Oliver Laughland and Ben Jacobs

Posted on 04/16/2016 9:29:51 AM PDT by Savage Rider

From his career in New York real estate to his extraordinary campaign for the White House, the court of Donald Trump has operated much like that of Louis XIV of France: everything revolves around the imperious, bouffanted Sun King.

“He is a total narcissist, and what you see here is the way he’s always been,” said a source intimately familiar with Trump’s way of working, who declined to be identified criticising a potential president. “This, between you and me, will be the destruction of the United States.”

Interesting article-sycophants always surround a narcissist. And Trump is the embodiment of this Axis II diagnosis. His treatment of his former wives and referring to himself in the third person are indicative of this personality disorder. There is certainly a motley crew of supporters- Jeff Sessions is the one who puzzles me.

Trump’s use of “we” is demonstrative of his ability to get people doing instead of talking.

Another hit piece from another left wing rag with the usual money quotes from anonymous sources.

Character assassination 101

Anyone care to debate the points raised in the article? Or are the comments going to be more along the lines of “La-La-La I can’t hear you?”

By way of argument all you have to do is read Trump's books. The one trait that it doesn't highlight is narcissism. He surrounds himself with good, well informed advisors, listens to what they have to say and then makes the decisions and whats even more rare, takes the responsibility along with the credit for the results.

Trump is the anti narcissist - He has said time and time again that he’s not special.

Its just he keeps saying what people want to hear.

Giving voice to every day people makes a person a narcissist. I highly doubt it.

If you posted this Left-wing Brit slop on the DUmp, maybe you'd get a debate over who hates Trump more...

“...said a source intimately familiar with Trump’s way of working...”

Interesting use of words by the Guardian. Notice how they didn’t say their source was intimately familiar with Trump. Classic way of writing a hit piece where you have no inside sources, but want to make it sound like you do.

I saw the headline and thought someone was stalking me.

But seriously, we avoid a cabal of selfish yes men by voting for someone besides Trump? Tell me then, who is surrounded by wise thoughtful public servants? what a pant load.

How is it Trump deniers can accept the loutish, vulgar hatred of Obama’s presidency and consider Trump somehow more dangerous?

Trump is not a narcissist. He is a salesman, an entrepreneur. Cruz is a narcissist. Big difference. Cruz has hired the true scumbags and the fact he tries to pretend that ain't so, is proof of who he is.

“The last dash attempt by liberals and establishment conservatives to scare people into not voting for him.”

Am I an establishment conservative because I remember the Micheal Moore moment during a debate when Trump said that Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction to get us into the war?

Am I an establishment conservative when I think that the business expertise of Trump on casinos, golf courses and hotels won’t help America be great again?

The man has no substance and the groundswell of support for him resembles a cult of personality more than it does any agreement with his abilities or ideals.

I seriously doubt whether he knows enough about the constitution to swear to uphold it... I imagine he’ll hire the “Best People” to handle all that Constitution stuff for him...
