It's a Ted Cruz sweep in Wyoming.
Cruz won 14 of 14 Republican National Convention delegates up for grabs at the Wyoming state convention here Saturday. The crowd here was clearly in Cruz's corner, as the Texas senator was the only candidate to make the trip to Casper -- ahead of a major snowstorm -- and Sarah Palin, scheduled to speak for Trump, previously canceled.

I’m guessing that Wyoming is pretty much Republican. Say maybe 70% of the voters? So, 70% of the voters were able to select a delegate to send from their precinct, and those delegates (who are GOP precinct commiteemen) go on to the county where they elect the folks to go to state.
So - if they wanted to, 100% of registered Republicans could have been in on the selection.
Judging by the reaction he is getting the GOPe. is pretty sure the deals will not be great for them. The GOPe do love them some Ted Bush though.

There will be millions of people voting for president. There will be 538 electors voting. Is that what you meant?
I haven’t complained yet. But then I’m not a whiner.
It is different, unlike Colorado and Wyoming there actually was a vote, he won that vote going away and the delegates were assigned accordingly.
Now Cruz can say he’s “won” 12 “elections” in a roll.
Yesterday he was saying 11 in roll. Jethro knows sums better than the canuck. Let’s see how many wins he has in the next two weeks, starting Tuesday. I’ll be interesting seeing him tap dancing around losing 6 straight and being mathmatically eliminated after the NY primary. Think he’ll suspend his campaign like he’s called for Kasich to end his, citing he has no way to get to 1,237. Hell would freeze over first.
Not that I’m above attacking the devout Cruzlim hordes here at FR, but I didn’t attack them here. I called Cruz an arrogant, creepy, liar. His supporters may not want to hear that, but that’s how a lot of people see Ted Cruz. And there’s definitely strong evidence that he is arrogant, creepy, and a liar.
Personally, I think that many of the Cruz supporters here at FR are paid disruptors. Among the ones who are not paid disruptors, there will be time after the nomination to make nice. In the meantime, they are basically advocating for a spoiler who cannot possibly win. They have a ‘win-at-all-costs’ attitude and many are as arrogant as their candidate. I have zero patience for that kind of behavior.
There are two types of people who support Ted Cruz: Those who still buy into the notion that saying you’re a ‘conservative’ actually means something concrete and those who are deathly afraid of our corrupt system actually changing. The first group will need to be dragged across the finish line as best we can. The second group, which has many of the ‘conservative’ media types in it, will never go along no matter what we do.
We will win this election with them or without them.
That’s because millions of more people have voted for Trump than the canadian illegal.
Yes, in navada the people got to vote for president. In Wyoming they didn’t.

For anybody who hasn’t figured it out yet Trump is running as the most successful third party candidate ever, just under an R label, which of course gives it legitimacy.
GoPe represents misinformed moderate status quotus types and few delusional Cruz fans afraid to break with status quotus party.
Trump represents a new party those who have awakened to the reality of the GoPe and boldly ready and willing to vote for real change, knowing unless they do, we surely are in last hours of this great Republic.
The Electors are functionaries and you know it. In reality, the People of the States and D.C. elect the President and Vice President, which each State worth varying numbers of points and D.C. worth 3. So the Electoral College is not analogous to the parties' delegates.

The Nevada Republican Party caucus is a closed caucus with eligibility limited to those registered 30 days before the caucus date including 17-year-olds who will be eligible to vote in the November general election. As in most other Republican caucuses, there are two components. First, delegates are elected from the attendees to represent the caucus-goers at the county conventions in March, and they generally announce who they support for President and why they should go to the county convention. Election of delegates is by show of hands. Then, a supporter of each campaign speaks on behalf of their candidate. Finally, a straw poll, called a presidential preference poll, is taken of the individuals in the room. The preference poll is a secret ballot with candidate names printed on them.
Although the news media reports the results of the straw poll and assigns delegates proportionally based on it, in Nevada, it is the county conventions and the state convention which determine who actually goes to the Republican National Convention. Thus, all delegates are unbound until the state convention in April, but they generally represent the preferences expressed by fellow Republicans in the straw poll
