Is he breaking any rules? If Trump had Cruz’s ground game this election would have been over 2 months ago.

I wouldn’t. These are the rules. Like them, hate them, but you have to play by them. Cruz did, Trump didn’t. Now Trump knows the game and is getting very good at it. Good time because he will need everything to beat Hillary.
Give Cruz credit for one thing. He forced Trump to up his game, which Trump did wonderfully.
In case you have not noticed, it has been over for Calgary Ted for a while but that has not stopped him. He even named a running mate last week after losing every county in 5 states where the people actually voted. Cruz simply does not care how sleazy he looks or how arrogant he sounds bragging about winning states where the people do not get a chance to vote. I hope he runs for reelection in 2018 so I get another chance to vote against him.
