Ted Cruz sweeps Wyoming Republican Convention
CNN ^ | 4/16/16 | Dan Berman

It's a Ted Cruz sweep in Wyoming.

Cruz won 14 of 14 Republican National Convention delegates up for grabs at the Wyoming state convention here Saturday. The crowd here was clearly in Cruz's corner, as the Texas senator was the only candidate to make the trip to Casper -- ahead of a major snowstorm -- and Sarah Palin, scheduled to speak for Trump, previously canceled.

I am not whining nor do I not understand the rules.. I can tell you the rules back and forth— but that does not mean they are right or appropriate-— my question was who do you think the 700 people in Wyoming who voted for Cruz are.. Are you seriously suggesting they are not the establishment? Because you seemed to suggest that Cruz was fighting the establishment...

“Trump will get over 80 of the 95 delegates in a state”

******

In the State of New York. Land of libtards. I trust the votes of 10 people in Wyoming over 10 million in New York.

Frankly, they should disqualify New York from having any say whatsoever in selecting the GOP nominee because the state has shown time and again that it is unfit to elect anyone but crooks, socialists, and a combination of the two.

That being said, I’ll still vote for Trump in November if he is the GOP nominee. Just don’t make it a point of pride or accomplishment that New York’s opinion on anything is worth even a warm bucket of spit beyond the East Coast.

North Carolina
Tennessee
South Carolina
Georgia
Florida
Alabama
Mississippi
Louisiana
Arkansas
Missouri

Oops...Trump has WON those “red” states...

Now let’s see about NE...
Massachusetts
Vermont
New Hampshire

Won by Trump....

Uh-oh...He lost Maine...

As I said before, even if they had a vote and Trump pumped in massive resources, Trump still would have lost ...it’s Cheney territory and there is no way the Cheney’s/GOPe would let Trump win that state ... the globalist neo-con agenda is far too important

Exactly right ..the problem is that most of these Cruz Cult members listen to those lying idiots, Levin and Beck ...they parrot everything that Lying Levin and Crazy Beck say ...they are fully brainwashed and think that these shenanigans are fine in an election , as long as their chosen one is benefitting

Can you understand that less than 1% participation is not “allowing the broadest possible participation of all voters in Republican party activities”?

Allowing participation does not mean people will participate. The caucus allows people to get involved directly with fellow participants, precinct captains, and grass roots candidate supporters. This level of involvement does not happen at a polling place. In states with primaries, you will find that this level of participation occurs with far less than 1% of those showing up to vote.

Ahhh, so now you’re “Theo the Great Unifier”?

You asked me a question if I would vote for Cruz if he gets to 1237 delegates, and I said “I’ll let you know when he does”, you don’t like that answer?

Go pound sand, don’t you think for one second that you can herd me or anyone into committing to a decision which has yet to even present itself, especially when you’re on record as following:

...If Cruz loses, I will under no circumstances vote for Trump.

I won’t vote for Trump. No “words of wisdom” will win me over to support that RINO/CINO.

First, Cruz has to actually GET the nomination and come out of Cleveland as the actual nominee.

Get back to me when that happens.

Yes, in navada...

What country are you in? ... the people got to vote for president. In Wyoming they didn’t.

In both states, the people voted for delegates. In Wyoming there was an extra layer of delegates.

That would screw Cruz up as he generally does not do well when regular people get to vote.

I caught a bit of one of Salem Media’s Cruz sycophants bashing “moron” Trump on the radio for hiring Rick Wiley and Manafort because they are “establishment”. So I guess Neil BUSH and Cruz supporter Romney are not establishment now? Cruzers are so desperate now they are grasping at any straw no matter how ridiculous.

Bottom line is Cruz lost the primary at the ballot box and now his only hope to steal the nom from Trump is with the full throated help of the GOP establishment. That Cruz is fine with that is all we need to know about his (lack of) authenticity as a conservative. He is a typical two faced career politician. Nothing more, nothing less.

Trump doesn’t do well in states where he does not campaign. Like Colorado for instance.

That’s great news.

Trump announced on Fox & Friends this morning that he didn’t want to spend any money there because he didn’t think he had a chance.

Way to fight for the nomination, Trump.

I think there are more people on a 3 mile stretch of the 405 freeway in LA, than live in Wyoming.

Enjoy your big victory.

Why don’t you wait until Wednesday to brag.

When Trump loses two factors emerge.

Either he was cheated or the state was too small to bother with.

“Trump announced on Fox & Friends this morning that he didn’t want to spend any money there because he didn’t think he had a chance.”

Perhaps. Or perhaps he figured it would be better for him to worry about all of the delegates in the NE than to bother with the paltry number of Wyoming delegates. Which - is a fair thought to have if you look at it dollars and cents wise. Like a shrewd businessman would.

But, one can’t really say “What - it was like 14 delegates. Who cares!?”

Who exactly do you think these Wyoming 700 people are? The people who decided this election are not the establishment?

These 700 people were elected at local caucuses, by any registered Wyoming Republican who wanted to participate and vote.
