This is fascinating. I don’t remember a primary season like this one ever.
It seldom goes this deep. The later states have pro-forma rules to be cheap — because their results almost never matter. Not the case now.
That said, I am laughing at all the fancy-pants people upset that the yokels dare to have their own way of doing things.
Small county Republican activities are shoe-string operations, run by solid conservatives. Of course they like Cruz. Why anyone is surprised they don’t like a NYC loudmouth like Trump is the real mystery.
At least not in this country.
The only difference for this primary season, is that the facade collapsed, and we're seeing what goes on. We're seeing the political system is a sham, and has been for a very long time. And we don't like what we see one bit.
“This is fascinating. I dont remember a primary season like this one ever.”

Agreed! Because the race has been close and may not be decided until Cleveland, we are seeing firsthand the sausage making that goes on at the local levels...the jockeying for delegates...lots of horse-trading and arm-twisting...politicking in the age of smart phones and Twitter!
