Katrina Pierson: Bernie Sanders Supporters ‘Sending Me Messages’ They Will Back Donald Trump If Hillary Clinton ‘Steals’ the Democratic Nomination

National spokeswoman for Donald Trump Katrina Pierson says the real estate mogul would put critical states such as Florida and New York in play for the Republicans — while getting support from Democrats angered by an expected Hillary Clinton nomination.

“When we get to the general election, we have to look at the map. Sen. Ted Cruz hasn’t won a single state that would change anything,” she tells Breitbart News Daily. “Trump has won Florida. He’s going to win New York. Moving forward, we’re going to be in other states where Mr. Trump is going to do really well. And in some of these cases, Ted Cruz is running third,” said Pierson.

“So this idea that Donald Trump would be the ‘weaker’ of the two regarding the vetting process because everyone’s going to go through that — I have to remind you that Donald Trump knows

“The fact that he’s been able to win as many votes as he has and be ahead in the delegate count as he is today, goes to show me that he is strong and he can carry the base. And not to mention his position with regards to trade, and jobs, and the global bank system. We’re going to bring in even [more] new voters, more voters from the independent side, from the Democrat side,” she said.

“I’ve got Sen. Bernie Sanders people sending me messages — it’s surreal — saying that if they steal the nomination from Bernie they’re voting for Trump,” she added. “So he is definitely the only candidate that can beat Hillary Clinton in the fall.”

Democrats back then weren’t into the free goods game?

LOL

Nice try. No sale.

They don't seem too fond of Hillary over there.

There is a funny video of Bernie supporters throwing dollar bills at Hillary's motorcade on its way to yet-another-fundraiser.

I turned over evidence of voter fraud to the Secretary of State’s office in Sacramento. Their attitude on acceptance of the documents I provided could best be described as post an additional 10mgs of Valium.

They could have cared less.

Wow. That sends a big message as to who the Trump supporters really are.

Voting so far has shown that a majority of voters are ready to dismantle both political parties and their disgusting manipulation. Assuming Trump gets the nomination and Sanders doesn't, Trump will get a lot of support from non-affiliated and dems who want to destroy their party structure.

This is the year of the outsider. Both political parties have led the US to ruin. It's become quite obvious through this campaign season that this is where the problems the US faces begin. It's with pols who have sold out just to get nominated. Folks are gonna' stay mad as *ell about it.

Not in the way you're thinking. There are a huge number of Sanders supporters who aren't necessarily communist, but rather more libertarian at heart, and share with Trump the same frustration with our uni-party government. It doesn't surprise me in the least that some may go to Trump. I think Trump has very broad appeal to some on the Democrat side, especially middle-class folks in the labor sector.

Remember, Reagan had his share of crossovers. Does that mean he was socialist/communist/Democrat?

Lol

Nice try. No Sale

BTW, many of my relatives are voting Bernie. None will vote Hillary or Trump. And each and everyone believe in government “freebies”

But the GOP and Cruz are stealing the race to the convention, so maybe all instead go third party.

Trump has 37% of the votes and 45% of the delegates. Who's stealing the race?

Your response reveals that you think those voters will be running the government because their few votes put Trump over the top.

Wow...

If the primary in New York State today was just Republican and was open I would bet money that Trump would get nearly 75% of the vote! Don’t get me wrong—I live in Western New York state. Far from NYC. A HUGE share of the democrats around here are for Trump. All we have to do as Republicans is get him nominated. There is no interest for Cruz and/or Kasich. At least not from democrats.

It’s becoming more and more apparent that Trump and most of his supporters have more in common with BLM and college snowflakes :)

Are all Bernie supporters "commies"?

Perhaps, just perhaps you can wrap your tiny little mind around the aspect that many are supporting Bernie because they are opposed to the 'establishment' being in control. Bernie has tapped into the anger and discontent in the same vain as Trump.

Reagan got alot of support from Democrats. I'm sure that made Reagan a commie as well.

Trump is not likely to carry NY in the general, though. But if he does, then the election is over

Here in WA state most of my buddy’s are Bernie supporters. To a man they say they are ok with Trump because they like the non-interventionist, pro Ameican worker policies and they believe he’ll shake things up just like Bernie, but do less damage in the process.

Trump and Sanders are quite similar in their rhetoric.

That’s not a good thing unless you agree with Sanders’ moon bat anti-Capitalism.

It’s weird that Trump parrots the same leftist canards.

“Reagan and Trump could be twins if born the same day. They both have same principles. America is lucky to have trump running.”

Definitely fraternal twins, not identical twins.

(PS: I was around when Reagan was running for President, and not a kid either. There are amazing parallels between the two, amazing! When I look at Donald Trump, I see one last chance for America, and we really don’t deserve it.)

No moron, it sends a big message that there’s a lot of people pissed off at the corrupt system in this country. Trump has started his outreach to the Sanders supporters by talking about rigged elections, how Bernie is getting the shaft, as well as hammering on poor trade deals that hurt the American worker. There’s precedence for unlikely alliances in the parliamentary system where disparate factions come together to form an alliance. This approach should be pursued in U.S. Elections as well.

The reason why rigid conservatives like you can’t see the forest through the trees is because you only want purists for your coalition, which can’t be formed in your narrow world. Who cares how Trump gets to 270, as long as he gets there and implements what he says he will once he gets there? The beauty of being a businessman is that you really are indifferent to how you put your deal together so long as you do. The end result is you get your business funded, building built or other venture started. The means is irrelevant only the end result. This is what liberals understand and narrow minded purists such as yourself don’t get.
