Yes, what I've known all along, pissed off Americans. When you become suitably pissed off, you'll support Trump, too.
(PS: I was around when Reagan was running for President, and not a kid either. There are amazing parallels between the two, amazing! When I look at Donald Trump, I see one last chance for America, and we really dont deserve it.)
I was also an adult in 1980, and the differences are many. The only thing they have in common is both were targets of their party establishments.
Reagan didn’t cry how everything was unfair and he was being cheated
Reagan would have never gotten into Twitter Wars with anyone who disagreed with him. Reagan would have never defended Nancy by posting an unflattering picture of Roslyn Carter
Reagan didn’t have a near 70% unfavorable rating with the public
Reagan knew and understood that he had to unite the party’s base before seeking the support of Dems and Indies. Trump and his backers believe the base can be replaced with the two groups
Reagan gad principles. Trump has “negotiable” positions which his supporters will find out if/ when get gets the nomination
Reagan was a likable gentleman who knew how to fight without alienating people outside his base of support.

Everyone is “suitably” pissed off. But then one has to go beyond the emotional into the logical.
The issue many of have with Trump are many. But I guess the underlying issue is the resentment those of us have that while we were working to get conservatives elected with the hopes that they would at least attempt to govern as such, the guy who now is convincing the gullible that he’s the true anti establishment candidate was donating to those we were opposing
Trump is running and winning with conservative solutions to the problems we face. What the hell else do you want? Cruz is like every other “conservative” politician. They say conservative things, vote for or against bills to enhance their conservative credentials but in the end, their conservative values lead to an ever increasing federal government. Where is the value in that “conservative” game? It always ends up with the very same results. Cruz, like most politicians are merely “conservative posers” posing for their reelection. btw, Cruz is ineligible so taking him seriously as a candidate is moot.
Trump is winning this primary. Why do you have such difficulty understanding that? It is stunning that otherwise extremely intelligent people like yourself are so blinded from the facts in front of you. Do you think Cruz is going to win tonight? I mean come on. I would risk owing a million dollars on that bet. And if I lost, I’d be in huge trouble but I also would never be more comfortable with the bet knowing I’d win it.
There is a growing % of voters who are willing to cast their vote for Trump, Bernie, A-Rod or Colonel Sanders so long as it would deliver a stinging defeat to the establishment.
Do you think Cruz is going to win tonight
I don’t think anyone here believes that Cruz is going to have a good night.
The difference is you’ll not hear people cry how unfair everything is
Question: were you alive back then? The Reagan democrats were mostly hardworking Americans that were sick of the Carter economy, OPEC and the national malaise.
Bernie supporters are a bunch of flag stomping, America hating Free Stuff Army. The two groups have about as much in common as Trump and someone of integrity.

So, if you believe that conservative candidates that run on conservatism but fail to govern as such should be held to account, and I agree they should, what confidence do you have that the recently conservative Trump who has said himself his positions are negotiable are the real deal?
Besides, “ the government will pay for healthcare” is not a conservative position. Nor is adopting 9/11 conspiracy theories and left it’s talking points on Iraq
Well to be honest, this is a bit different since the people get to vote. If we had 50 primaries, and Cruz won them, nobody would complain about cheating. It’s when you pick a candidate with the majority not even having the chance to vote is where questions come in.
Using that logic, it's safe to assume that if Bernie gets the nomination and Trump doesn't that you will be voting for Bernie.
Thanks for helping me make my point.
I have no doubt that Trump will get some of the Bernie vote. The question is how many? By the way lose with Cruz.
Bernie is a communist. Anybody supporting a communist is a communist. I'm sorry if you're not able to comprehend this simple concept.
Which includes being indifferent to the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and individual liberty.
Thanks for making my point, moron.
There are two irrefutable facts: 1)there is a God, 2) Trump ain't it.
If you think you're pissed off now just wait until your false god is a complete failure.

Hoo boy, you are off your rocker. You rightfully should be supporting Cruz. You're both nuts.

My mindset is drifting away from the primary elections to the general.
Cruz and the GOPe going for the selection over the election.
To me it says that Reagan captured the hearts and the minds and the imagination of the American people across the entire spectrum of our political landscape.
I get the appeal with Bernie. One thing about the bastard is he is pro America in acommie bastard sort of way. America first. America jobs.
The problem is he is actually a communist.
In many ways Reagan and Trump seem to strike the same chord although we are in a generation that’s 30 years past the Reagan generation. Trump will do good with Democrats.
.
I know so many Democrats that think Hillary is a criminal. And if they don’t get Bernie they are going to swap parties for one election and vote for Trump. And I know that many Democrat women hate Hillary personally.
I've expressed this earlier. The Republican Party was dead to us with the primary runoff "win" being stolen for Cochran. We didn't realize the stinking corpse could not be revived and rehabilitated.
