‘You Gotta Stop!’ Hannity Loses His Cool with Ted Cruz Over Delegates
Mediaite ^ | 4/19/16 | Josh Feldman

Posted on 04/19/2016 3:22:36 PM PDT by markomalley

Sean Hannity got a little frustrated with Ted Cruz during a radio interview this afternoon over his campaign’s delegate game.

Cruz said he doesn’t think most people care about this stuff. Hannity shot back by invoking his millions of followers and saying plenty of people “find this whole process confusing.”

When Cruz dismissively said only Donald Trump‘s people are complaining, Hannity kind of blew up:

“Senator, why do you do this? Every single time––no, you gotta stop! Every time I have you on the air and I ask you a legitimate question, you try to throw this in my face, I’m getting sick of it!”

Cruz testily asked, “Sean, can I answer your last question without being interrupted?”

He explained how the system works and how the “noise and complaining and whining” is only coming from Team Trump. Hannity shot back that people have serious issues and “it’s a simple question, it’s not a Trump question.”

(video at link)

At one point, Hannity said, “Senator, I don’t know why you’re mad.” Cruz said he’s not mad, he’s just irked that he’s asking “only about the nonsense” and not about policy.

Hannity insisted he has asked the senator about policy plenty of times and simply wants to address

The way Cruz’s daughter screamed stop hurting me daddy sent a chill up voters back. If he does that in public, I fear for the daughters behind closed doors. Did you see how he went off uncontrollably at hannity. It’s clear Cruz will get violent on anyone who questions him. Those daughters better never say no again.

I agree. Hannity began....and then bent over backwards to be nice to Lyin Ted.

The minute cRuz got asked to simply ANSWER THE QUESTION, things turned mean and ugly, for cRuz.

Hannity kept his calm and courtesy the entire time.

I’m glad you quoted someone totally irrelevant to this conversation.

“Squirrel!!!”

Good job trying to sidetrack the conversation. Didn’t work.

If he were so principled and unwavering why did he support TPP/corker as he did?

Why did he originally support the expansion of H1 visas as he did.

Why did he go to the border with Beck and teddy bears the way he did?

Why did he waffle so much about waterboarding the way he did?

Why did he say he would never find the Clinton sex scandals were untouchable the way he did?

Why does he lie so much about Trump’s actual positions the way he does?

Why has he brought on the Bush and Romney teams to plot strategy and raise money for him?

Why has he become the GOPE darling in the effort to prevent Trump from winning? Why has he allowed himself to be used by the very same people and groups he has told us he is running against?

Hint: that ain’t principled in the slightest.

When your dealing with a child like Cruz, it can be frustrating. I have 4 children myself and thankfully they act better then Cruz.

This is the same Alan Dershowitz that says according to Cruz’s Originalist interpretation of the constitution, Cruz is not a Natural Born Citizen?

The kind of judge Cruz says he admires and would appoint to the Supreme Court is an “originalist,” one who claims to be bound by the narrowly historical meaning of the Constitution’s terms at the time of their adoption. To his kind of judge, Cruz ironically wouldn’t be eligible, because the legal principles that prevailed in the 1780s and ’90s required that someone actually be born on US soil to be a “natural born” citizen. Even having two US parents wouldn’t suffice. And having just an American mother, as Cruz did, would have been insufficient at a time that made patrilineal descent decisive.

I’ve seen more lefty garbage approved on here lately than on liberal sites.

I’ve never seen the National Enquirer used here to attack any GOP candidate pre Trump

I doubt you will, but I’ll wait and see.

Trump is not afraid to tell the truth. Which is one of the reasons why Trump is so popular. Trump is speaking for all the voters at home who want our country back.

We are not defending Trump. We are defending Americans who stood in line, took off work, early voted and the precedent had been set for decades that whoever wins the majority of votes and delegates, which Trump has, that the delegates would never change their vote because they were representing their friends and neighbors from their own neighbors.

And yet we have Cruz aggressively coordinating with elected officials all over the country asking them to NOT support their friends and neighbors choice for President, but instead to look the other way and vote for him, even though he didn’t win.

It is mind blowing that Cruz decided this was a winning strategy and it is catching up with him because even Cruz supporters are getting disgusted with Cruz’s backdoor deals.

Cruz will continue to tank. Americans are PERSONALLY being disenfranchised by Ted Cruz.

Oh, and Ted Cruz and his surrogates have gone on record over and over again telling all the other candidates they needed to drop out because they couldn’t win. Those are people dropped out because they are decent enough to know you don’t go back to neighborhoods you lost in an attempt to cherry pick their representatives for a 2nd vote at the convention. Seriously, who does that? So much 2nd hand embarrassment for Cruz and his tone deaf manipulations. It is already catching up with him which is why he continues to go down in polls.

Just read the message boards all over. Trump is not coordinating online posters like the Cruz campaign does. Messages all over on many sites are people disavowing Cruz for either having already voted for him or were going to vote for him.

All the sites have people saying they can no longer support Cruz. Something just doesn’t sit right with someone who so aggressively goes after someones right to have accurate delegate representation for the winning nominee at the convention.

People voted, were happy Trump won in many many states and moved on with their lives. Looked forward to watching the convention knowing how their state voted and that their vote would be legitimately represented. Then they find out Cruz has backdoored all his people to take the place of Trump delegates.

And this is AFTER Cruz told all the other candidates to get out of the primary because they can’t win. Same can be said for Cruz. He can’t get to the majority.

Irrelevant. When he couldn't buy it, he tried to take it. He used political connections to make the attempt (were those 'donations that were just business' involved?).

He also tried to hire her lawyer while the case was pending to use him against a competitor who had a similar case going by paying him to defend the property owners in that other case (Which would have been a YUUUGE conflict of interest). one of many sources

Call that what you will, using the rules, whatever, but I see someone who is just out for themselves, and nothing and no one else matters.

With the attitude toward states in the west, which also happen to be energy (Oil and Gas, Coal) producing states, which have varying degrees of issues with USFWS and the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) and EPA over Federal Regulation and behaviour, I have no faith that Donald Trump will do squat to uphold our Constitutional Rights.

He didn't even come out west to capitalize on voter anger over the RNC rules changes which he could have easily done, saying it 'wasn't worth the effort'.

Bottom line is that Cruz most likely will be asked by Trump to be VP, which is why I refrain from trashing him or his supporters.

His behavior and demeanor has been HORRIBLE though, here’s hoping that Trump has an ace in the hole that is a game changer.

There has never been a Hispanic VP candidate before, the odds of Trump passing over Cruz and Rubio are 50/50, but he will name a Hispanic as VP.

Maybe Chaffetz, the guy is a Jew, a Mormon, and probably a couple of other things as well.

Cruz does this all the time, Hannity interviewed him last week and Cruz keep blabbering on about Trump and not answering any of his questions. People listening said sCruz sounded unhinged.

I listened to this exchange...Hannity was the one who lost his cool, not Cruz...I’ve always thought Hannity was as dumb as a box of rocks, but now I’m convinced!

I’ve listened to this guy, Hannity, who claims he does not favor any candidate, but he always leaves the impression that he’s a NY toadie for Trump...who’d a thunk it?

After Hannity expressed his pique, Cruz totally wiped the floor with him, went off on his own message...dumb-bell Sean could not get a word in edge wise...doofus that he is, he kept trying to come back to the stupid questions about the delegate process...his innuendo was that somehow Cruz was stealing delegates...when Cruz answered the questions about the delegate selection process, it was unacceptable to Seany boy! Did this knucklehead want Cruz to say he was actually stealing delegates! What a dope!

If I were Cruz, I’d boycott this Irish dolt at every turn!

you’re a dreamer.
Show up with $1000000 and you too can be endorsed to run for congress by the party.
The goal of both partys is to limit those who participate.
My states delegates have already been told who to vote for on the second ballot and the election isn’t until 6/7

That is the party line but the lie is being exposed. The sanctimonious folks at the top say put in your time & donate but the truth is that some pigs are more equal than others in the oligarchy of these states. The process is designed to reward the insiders who have participated in business as usual while trashing this country while feeding at the trough.
