That would make sense. First, get as many delegates as possible away from Trump. Then, force a second ballot. Then get Kasich into contention and possibly get him the nomination.
I have wondered why people are paying to keep Kasich’s campaign going. There can be no other possible explanation other than Kasich has a real chance to be nominated at a brokered convention.

This is the main reason that I want Cruz to remain in the race until the convention. Between Trump and Cruz, they have enough votes - if they work together - to keep the GOPe from changing the rules to benefit their candidates. In short, if Trump and Cruz can put aside their differences they are better served by keeping rule 40 in place for all votes. If they do that, then the GOPe has no chance of putting in any of the existing candidates or a dark horse as all rule changes have to be approved by the floor by a majority.

Simple Cruz has lost the baseand the race to Trump, he needs to wave the white flag.

We’re waiting............

Not gonna happen. Cruz is GoPe.

Well the GOPe is now shifting to Trump so I guess he is the new GOPe.

There are many of us who will not be participating in this scam in the general election in November.

Donald Trump is the presumptive nominee that we need to vote for to defeat Hillary Clinton.

Congratulations to our presumptive nominee, Donald Trump!

We’ll see, whole bunch of GoPe globalist money being spent to stop Trump, appears they are failing, then of course they’re going to jump on the Trump train, but that’s Ok, cause he’s the engineer.

If you’re going to give Kasich a shot, better make it a double.

When Kasick voiced his support for pedophile bathrooms in NC, he set every RINO heart a-twitter...

Which RINO? The ones on the GOP mainstream left or the ones on the GOP mainstreams right?

If they were going to do something this stupid...they’d skip right by Kasich, and fly Jeb into the middle of the convention to save the GOP.

There’s zero chance that Kasich is the guy, or Rubio, or Cuban #2 (Cruz). Either Trump wins on the first ballot, or it goes to the insider-outsider (Paul Ryan) or Jeb on the second ballot.

“I thought it was so he could offer whomever he wanted as president his delegates to become VP.”

Campaigns are expensive. Whoever is financing the Kasich campaign must expect there will be an added benefit of continuing to campaign. It is doubtful that Kasich will get any additional delegates.

But maybe Kasich will be the Vice President nominee and he is trying to increase his following.

“Shep Smith sprinkle princess that he is will not be voting Republican any time soon. Anything he says is to be taken with a grain of salt.”

I agree. As I said previously I don't think Shepard Smith is someone to take seriously.

What makes it interesting is why people are still donating money to fund the Kasich campaign.

I can't think of a logical reason. Unless they think he has a chance in a brokered convention.

I wish Trump and Cruz had worked together more.

I hope they are able to work together in the future.

You may be right. So many people in the Republican Party are talking about the need for a fresh face or a white knight or a new candidate who can unite the party.

The question is what will they do?

You facts are wrong as usual for a Trumpeteer. If Cruz is the nominee I will vote for him. If Trump is the nominee I will vote for him. Either one will beat Hillary. Your belief that one or the other cannot is rooted in kool-aid consumption. It is about beating Hillary. If Trump people do not vote because Trump does not get the nom then they elected Hillary. Same for Cruz people.

I draw the line at voting for a fellow communists or amnesty shill that gets the nom if the convention hoses either one.

You must have missed the point of my post, didn’t infer you wanted Hillary, just that any idea Cruz has a chance is irrational and any continued support for him will in effect lead to a Hillary win.

Your inability to do math, damages us all. Cruz cannot win FL or OH in the general and has been trounced by millions of everyday American voters, who will not switch to him if TRump gets dumped at the convention.
