Complete nonsense. Republicans don’t even want Cruz. Nobody will cross over and vote Cruz. Trump voters will not vote Cruz because of his underhanded crap of disenfranchising the voters.
What Manafort did in Ukraine is extraordinary. He singlehandedly reinvented an unpopular candidate and led him to victory. Trump is smart to hire him.
That kind of propaganda is coming from Manafort ....
Cruz lost. The only thing Cruz and his supporters are doing now is screwing the voters. Not the way to win friends or votes in the future.

I have trouble with this self-designation of an organization that calls itself “Accuracy in Media”. They do not have any patent on “accuracy”, but they do have an interesting definition of what it is supposed to mean.
Somehow, the Soviet form of Communism is set up as some kind of opposite to the Nationalist Socialist German Workingmen’s Party. While they fought each other furiously, they were actually competing for the same part of the turf, which was, is, and shall always be, some form of socialism. There is no breath of freedom, or decency, or democratic urges, in either of these entities.
So to insert a preference for either Communism or Nationalist Socialism into the discussion, is to throw out a red herring, dragging it back and forth to throw the search dogs off the scent.
I agree, but the problem is Manafort was the one who compared Cruz to the Gestapo as a slur, but himself has all kinds of red connections with real former communists. He should have never said this, but needs to take a good look in the mirror.
