How is Trump winning when he lost by a 3 to 1 margin in NY behind Sanders and Clinton? How is he winning when he received fewer votes in NY than Cruz did in WI?

The current platform sounds like overpromising. It would be an admirable thing to see them try it, even if it didn’t always make ethical and moral sense (life of mother would, because we now have a true triage situation).
Is it better to overpromise and not follow through? What use is a platform that already has holes in it everywhere you reproduce it, even though you claim it doesn’t?
