The Real Donald Trump (helping ground zero, Levin owes Trump a big apology).
Dennis Michael Lynch ^ | March 18, 2016 | Admin

According to Kerick, who by the way spent a great deal of time down at Ground Zero, Donald Trump displayed incredible generosity and concern towards the volunteers and first responders who worked down at “The Pile” sifting through debris for body remains. Bernie told me without hesitation, “Trump instructed hundreds of his hotel workers to head down to Ground Zero and offer a hand doing whatever needed to be done. Be it hand out water, food, etc, etc.” I asked if the cameras caught any of this? Kerick explained there were no cameras permitted in the area, and Trump knew this. Meaning, he didn’t do it for the fanfare or press clippings. Perhaps Donald did it because he loves America, and because he cares about the American people?

Kerick went on to say Trump himself visited Ground Zero to help lift spirits and to thank the tireless workers who were down there each day and night searching for bodies. “He didn’t have to do it, he wanted to do it. That’s the Trump I know.”

I was able to withstand Levin for thirty minutes tonight, but had to shut him off. He has totally gone off the rails. His criticism of Trump is so deliberately contrived and he takes all Trump supporters as fools, maintaining that he is the only one who is smart enough to know what is taking place. His unabashed bias and arrogance is insultingly extreme.

It’s sad to see Levin destroy his credibility for such a loser like bought and paid for career politician Ted Cruz. Levin has done great harm to his Article 5 campaign. It’s DOA now.

That’s shallow - and ignorant.

First, was it Cruz who is favoring transgender rights to go into the head with your daughter?

So the queers are getting Trump’s support without donating?

Second, here’s Trump: “I gave to many people before this — before two months ago I was a businessman. I give to everybody. When they call, I give. And you know what, when I need something from them two years later, three years later, I call them. They are there for me. That’s a broken system.”

Find me the equivalent Cruz quote.

Try, try, try to think it through.

Respond if you will, but I’m done with you.

I used to sign on to that 100% conservative candidate thing too. What are we going to do? Keep losing elections until Charles Matel comes back? We need a leader. Trump is a leader. The other 3 are not. Cruz was the most conservative until he ran his very dishonest campaign. Sadly, it was more dishonest than Hillary’s thus far.

I agree, and I also think that arguing in front of the Supreme Court, which seems to be a major resume enhancement for Cruz, is not being a leader. Or an inspirer. Or a doer. The world of words does not beget reality minded leaders. or seldomly.

Mr. Levin should apologize for being wrong on the facts.
He should clear his record up.

I have never looked into Cruz’s charitable giving. Its not the first thing I think of when evaluating a candidate...but I would be surprised if he did not make donations or maybe even tithe 10% to his own church.

This is sad for me to see Icons self destruct like Rush and Levin. And it’s permanent. These men will be like those Americans that stood against George Washington. They are forgotten and obliterated from history. They chose their destiny.

There are so many stories from real people about Trump doing acts of quiet generosity.

This IS the kind of man we want in the WH.

I am trying to catalogue as many of these type of vignettes I can that are from reliable sources. I am one of those who believe pounding positives can undo negatives and we need that going into Indiana and the General.

That’s very typical of Trump. He very rarely talks about his good deeds. I guess he’s not the self righteous type.

When Beck went all in for Cruz, I knew it would have a lasting impact long after the election for these radio guys who pick a candidate during the primaries. I give them credit for their passion.

Did Ted Cruz ever help anyone besides himself? Trump may not crow about his religion, but he sure has practiced a lot more Christian charity that Ted Cruz ever has.
