Which then some would have taken as a hint that he’s for what’s happening in states that yield on the question... again how do you win?
The people that I work with, who have had actual business dealings with Trump DO NOT TRUST HIM. This is do to his failure to live up to contractual obligations.
- His word is he will protect religious liberty, nominate conservative judges and bring education back under local control.
His "word" changed this week when he supported perverts access to restrooms, agreed to raise taxes and said that illegals must go through a process. Oh, and he has already said that he is ok with appointing people like his liberal sister to being judges.
Yes, it takes time, but it also takes EFFORT and I don't see but a handfull of people in Washington even making the attempt.
Another view on what may be God’s plan here. Consider the following:
“I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.” Ezekiel 22:30
and,
“No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the LORD.” Isiah 54:17
Then remember:
God has a habit of calling and using the unlikely: Noah was a drunk, Abraham was too old, Jacob was a liar, Leah was ugly, Joseph was abused, Moses had a stuttering problem, Gideon was afraid, Samson was a womanizer, Rahab was a prostitute, David was an adulterer and a murderer, Elijah was suicidal, Jonah ran from God, Naomi was a widow, Job went bankrupt, Peter denied, the Disciples fled, Martha worried, the Samaritan woman was divorced, Zacchesus was too small and Lazarus was dead!
The very definition of wickedness is trying to achieve the righteousness of God with the anger of men.
You seem to really believe in what Trump says. Sad.
It is true that Heidi Cruz worked as a financial advisor for Goldman Sachs in the Houston office.
But it is also true that Trump has much deeper and bigger relationships with giant Wall Street firms than the Cruzes.
Your are right. The election is not about liberal/conservative. Assuming Trump wind the GOP nomination, the election will be liberal/liberal.
You keep insisting with your trifecta of folly of taking the worst possible view on things, not realizing that all these answers are status quo answers at worst.
I see the definition of wickedness as seeing evil and not doing anything to stop it.
You won't get me to argue with that.
Ahhhhh promises promises... we never believe promises even if God offers them... promises are always bogus... /s
What it actually is, is failure to use the means that God has actually provided.
You are overlooking the plows that God has furnished right now because they are not gold plated.
Secular society has managed to last until now with ladies and gents room and without xrays. Why are in favor of caving in to the radical gender destroying LGBT... agenda? If the Republicans won’t stand up for moral decency and sanity, then who needs Democrats?
But what else are Cruz's Pecker-Checker Police supposed to do?
̿ ̿̿'̿̿\̵͇̿̿\=(̪●)=/̵͇̿̿/'̿̿ ̿
If you read between the lines, Trump would say okay if you are a kook who dresses like a lady though you have a penis, we will not x ray your pants. Go in the ladies room. However while in there you are subject to the same laws against molestation, exhibitionism, and camera voyeurism etc. that anybody else is. (Ever notice that guys don’t wag their members at one another even at the urinals? There is a reason.)
However there are some jihadists who will not accept that kind of an answer. Even though that is status quo.
Baring false witness is a sin.
I believe you have it backwards. We have to be right morally, and therefore right with God, before we’ll ever get to the point that God will bless us with fiscal blessings again.
We became a rich and prosperous nation because our laws were indistinguishable from God’s commands. Abortion and homosexuality and adultery were shamed and punished, for instance. It wasn’t some accident that our laws were made like His laws, and it wasn’t some accident that we were richly blessed for that obedience.
It’s only been in the past few decades, when we’ve collectively rejected God’s commands, that we’ve become worse than bankrupt, trillions of dollars in debt, debt that we’ll never be able to repay. Shameless depravity has divine consequences.
Keeping the current condition with regards to abortion (Trump’s stated position) isn’t doing ANYTHING to stop abortions. It’s not plowing, its not hoeing, it’s not planting.
What it IS doing is letting the weeds grow. As in allowing the slow creeping towards any abortion for any reason at anytime by anybody.
The Bible calls for us to OPPOSE, that requires action and effort. Not sitting on a duffs and just letting things happen.
I want someone who will fight for the people who are already alive.
Guess what, when has the church ever done anything from the gospel to stop it?
It sounds like you are making excuses for that inaction. Caesar can do little. The church can do much. The church that leaves it to Caesar deserves the debacle it sees.
That is what I want as well. The difference between us is that I recognize the unborn as being alive.
Laws like chattel slavery?
Laws like Jim Crow?
Laws like welfare bribery?
