That’s because they and the remaining Cruzlims here are not in it to see Cruz win

They are still in it to try to deprive Trump voters be damned

And they are losing

Reasonable Cruz peeps like our Klamath valley friend have thrown in the towel

that’s what I was thinking lol

he could have bowed out gracefully a while ago and kept the chance that I would vote for him in the future alive, but he killed that one.

What some people are refusing to admit is that polls 6-7 months before an election are beyond worthless... Think of all that is yet to come— Picking of vp’s for both nominees— conventions— millions upon millions in ads-— vp debates— presidential debates— October surprises and the list could go on and on.. a poll for the November elections is as good as a current weather prediction for a Tuesday this November

” These Ted Cruz fanboys know the truth, as does their preferred candidate, Ted Cruz, and yet they still insist on their suicidal quest to both wreck their own party and even risk their country, all for one man’s blind personal ambition. Absolutely shameful.

It would be laughable if it weren’t so dangerous.”

Indeed. Cruz is the suicide bomber doing the bidding of his Donor “Imams” and establishment GOP. If he’s going down, he’s going to take everyone with him.

I suspect he is doing exactly what the party bosses are telling him. I read yesterday, a guy on the RNC rules committee, I think his name was Curly? Said just because Trump gets to 1237, does not mean he gets the nomination.
He says, you don’t get the nomination with the most delegates, you get when a plurality of delegates vote for you on the floor of the convention....so yes they keep moving the goal post. These people are wack....if this were JebLo...he would have been presumptive LONG AGO!

I suggest that Freepers-conservatives-Republicans on BOTH sides of Trump vs Cruz start pulling together. Now is NOT the time to gloat or sulk or withdraw. BOTH sides need to show class, humility, and solidarity.

We HAVE to unite to defeat the Democrat candidate in November. We have a LOT more in common than we disagree on. Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the very good. We need to stop trying to destroy one another, and pull together to defeat our common enemy - Liberalism.

Psalm 133
A song of ascents. Of David.

1 How good and pleasant it is
when God’s people live together in unity!

Let’s make that our prayer going forward.

I agree with your post completely! The more people who listen to Cruz, the more he turns them away!

Has anybody seen a Ted Cruz rally lately? They have the same excitement and death rattle of a Jebbie Bush rally...

Cruz will never suspend, and here's why:

Robert Morris Announces Solemn Assembly of 75,000 Pastors at Cowboy Stadium in July 2016

Just in time for the GOP and Dem National Conventions, Robert Morris and friends want to get 75,000 pastors in Dallas’ Cowboy Stadium to pray for the nation. Morris announced the big solemn assembly in his Saturday (8/8/15) sermon at the Southlake campus of Gateway Church. ... The national conventions for both parties are also in July. This looks like a perfect occasion to organize for the GOP nominee. The timing makes it seem more like a political event than a prayer meeting.

The people putting on this meeting are Cruz's big religious backers. It is nominally a non-political event, in reality it will be a Cruz-fest.

If Cruz drops out now, he pulls the rug out from under his supporters that behind this event. He at least has to give them time to hold the event and "pray a miracle" and put Ted into the White House.

Remember, much of Ted's religious support comes from the Pentecostal wing of Christianity. They believe that not only their prayers, but their words can shape reality (hence the "name it and claim it" theology).

They would view Cruz dropping out now as demonstrating a lack of faith.

Pray tell us, in God’s name how Trumpkins and their conman and snake oil “Dear Leader” salesman will prevail?

You know how. You said it right there.

Salesmanship.

Trump is one of the greatest salesmen who ever lived. When he's done selling himself to Republican primary voters and GOP officials he'll move on to the broader electorate.

You ain't seen nothin yet!

I could have been for Ted. Then I started looking more closely at his voting record on this terrorist-funding Iran “deal” which only helps them threaten Israel and saw his Chicago-leftist-talking-point. Then, “voting violations”, Colorado, and on and on and on.

Also not helping: “Trumpster, Trumptards, Trumpees, etc.”.

Sometimes, enough is enough.

There are multiple politicians running and one non-politician. I’m going with the non-politician who is daily demonized by the GOPe, the DNC, the MSM and the Globalists.

Did not know that.

Hopefully he come to his senses and realizes that at least when he can no longer even stop Trump from reaching 1237 he hangs it up for this cycle.

It has to be so very hard for a candidate to spend so much time and energy to throw in the towel. But Cruz is already damaging himself, and continuing on beyond a loss in Indiana with a crushing defeat in California on the horizon is political suicide.

Clarity isn’t Cruz’s strong suit. If it was, he wouldn’t be running a campaign with state of the art GOP strategies, circa 1980.
