I don’t think Cruz has the brains or the class to go up against Manafort...

Cruz is playing a first grade bully game, I’m taking all the toys and going home, but when he gets to the gate, he meets someone like Manafort who takes away the toys and boots his butt out the gate onto his face in the mud...

Chris Wallace playing gotcha throughout. Manafort doesn’t flinch. He said Cruz lies and makes stuff up out of whole cloth. He is confident Trump will get delegates going in to the convention, and Cruz is making speeches out of despair.

Great interview. Manafort made some excellent points throughout. Wallace is a douche.

I am so happy we have Paul Manafort on our side. The old pro has greatly enhanced Donald Trump’s chances. Both are about the same age which helps when it comes for The Donald to take Manfort’s advice.
Trump age 69
Manfort age 67
And both have been kicking around for a long time

wikipedia-—
“Manafort was born in New Britain, Connecticut, on April 1, 1949.[1] He graduated from Georgetown University in 1971 with a B.S. and a B.A., and from Georgetown University Law School in 1974 with a J.D. His grandfather James Manafort immigrated to the USA from Italy in 1919. His father, Paul J. Manafort Sr. served in with the Army combat engineers in World War II and was mayor of New Britain. The name Manafort means “Strong Hand” in Italian.”

I read that Manafort is in this for the thrill of winning the game
Helps him to stay emotionally detached and deal coldly with an arrogant novice like Cruz
I also read he is working pro bono
Interesting if true
Glad he is on Team Trump

Manafort as the video shows has dealt with some really tough guys in his career, and Cruz is a “Pussy” compared to them.

Cruz doesn’t take losing well. But this tuesday and in Indiana he is going to get lots of practice losing.
In fact coming in 3rd place to a nothing like Kasich who can only win his home state will be embarrassing to Lyin Terd.

I also hear Manafort is working pro bono.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised to see him become Trump's Chief of Staff.

I was hoping Newt would become Trump’s chief of staff.

Chris was very hostile.

Manafort handled him like a pro.

The Trump people I see are top notch.

Can’t wait until they are working for the nation setting things right.

Manafort is a MAN. That interview was a master class in handling the media.

Brilliant.

Wallace is the acorn that dropped from his father’s tree, rolled downhill and just turned to mush. His best efforts to bring Manafort down and he didn’t even put a glove on him.

Trump chose the best.

Yeah, this guy Manafort is really spectacular.

Just love his demeanor, his voice, the way he never wastes words -- even his occasional smile is a winning one.

He's a cooler version of Trump, but definitely the same iron fist inside the velvet glove kind of guy.

Besides Trump himself, I can't think of another person in his whole election cycle who has the gravitas and grace under pressure of Manafort.

What a splendid Chief of Staff he would make -- hope Trump finds a good place for him in his administration.

The excellent people Trump picks to surround him are all part of the beautiful package we get. And Manafort is absolutely shaping the public image of the Trump team as solid, trustworthy, careful -- and yes, presidential.

And the way he praises "the boss" shows his loyalty to Trump and all the others on the Trump Train.

Way to go, Donald.

Nah, as interesting as it sounds, I think Newt would be a better special adviser to the President, or how about naming him the U.N ambassador. The U.N needs vision, and Newt will certainly bring vision. Vision with the U.S being prominent.
